I've been visiting the forums of palintology.com recently. While I started out just being a rude pain in the ass, my tact has changed to actually try to engage these people in intelligent dialog. It hasn't been easy to say the least. I'm the sites official "troller". Anyway I invite you come on give me a hand. My handle on palintology is "firstdude".
I am glad someone is recognizing the choice of Palin for VP demonstrates the McCain's campaign the total disregard for the American public. McCain has solid his soul to the money changers. Knowing that Palin would excite the base, puts this person with so little regard for the welfare of women and children. For years the Republican Party has laid claim to “values”. We see with the financial collapse a set of Republican values exposed. And now for those other values, read below. Supportors of the Republican ticket should be ashamed. How anyone can think or acept that this ticket is the best representative of American values. Based on their own statements as reported in the Associated Press, can anyone not bring their attitude regarding women and children to the light of day.
The McCain campaign released to the AP why Monegan, the Public Safety Commissioner for Alaska, was fired…Because he was seeking funding from Washington for investigating and prosecuting sexual assault cases. This is outrages. Alaska has the highest incidence of rape…2.3 times the national average, and the highest reported incidence of child sexual assault, reported to be 6.6 times the national average. Is this the reform that the McCain ticket plans to bring to Washington? There is no place for these values in America. If this is not brought to the public attention, and if the those supporters of this ticket, including Pat Robertson, are not full of shame…then perhaps, we are very close to the Day of Judgment. I for one will not vote for Sodom and Gomorrah.
Vote NO to Sodom and Gomorrah on Election Day.
THIS IS AN EXTRACT FROM THE ASSOCIATED PRESS REPORT:
[iThe last straw, the McCain campaign said, was in July, when Monegan planned to travel to Washington to seek federal money for a plan to assign troopers, judges and prosecutors who could exclusively handle sexual assault cases — one of the state's most intractable crime problems.
In a July 7 e-mail, John Katz, the governor's special counsel, noted two problems with the trip: The governor hadn't agreed the money should be sought, and the request was "out of sequence with our other appropriations requests and could put a strain on the evolving relationship between the Governor and Sen. (Ted) Stevens."
Four days later, Monegan was fired. He said he had kept others in the administration fully apprised of his plans to go to Washington. [/i]

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5jOTk11g..._2YOxwD937N8L80I have been sending the above out into the blogs but, for the life of me...I do not understand why there isn't an outrage over this. There was only a blurp on CNN/Lou Dobbs at the very end of on the shows last and that was it. This should really make all of the people supporting the McCain-Pallin ticket simply because there is a woman on the ticket, really think again about what they are getting.
