PBS is doing a poll which asks if Palin is qualified to be VP.
The right wing has organized a yes campaign--and the 'yes' is at the moment winning. Take literally 1 minutes or less, go to:

This was brought up day before yesterday (if memory serves) and the poll was more like yes: 64%/no: 32%. The poll now is virtually a dead heat.

I'll vote, but many idiots in this country are drawn to her, and there is no
legit reason why? Sickening.

Polls we have are most likely all tainted in the phrasing of the question.
My partner and I get calls from pollsters every once in a while. I let them spew their LEADING question. I then point out the flaw in their question and hang up. If pollsters were to give out bad numbers against the corporate media interest, they wouldn't be hired by the corporations. If you did that's pretty dumb.
As for this poll, I know too many guys who are just so star struck with Sarah's beauty they act like bugs flying toward the flame. These men and women think she is just so wonderful. Personally, I can't see any beauty in face or her as a person. Just a shallow narrow minded bimbo. And too dumb to realize she is just being manipulated by the real power brokers.
Oh why do I work behind the Orange Curtain of California??
Scary thought: During the primary, my partner volunteered at a local precinct. she said the republicans outnumbered the dems by like 10 to 1. And this is in a beach community of SoCal. And more than half my neighbors are that way too. Sothern California is becoming a hard core conservative. And if we are not careful, electoral votes for California may end in Palin-Panama John ticket. Don't forget Richard Nixon is from SoCal. Plain talkin B movie star Ronald Reagan is also from SoCal. We are also home to B2 Bob Dornan, disgraced Duke Cunningham, Rep. Pelosi who's only real interest is keeping her seat and her big wad of family fortune. And lets not forget the military-industrial complex, which has a huge huge presence here. When I'm at a social event and people find out that I'm an engineer, they think, "oh she works at Lockeed-Martin, General Dynamics, McDonald-Douglas (now Boeing), Hughes Aerospace..."
--------------
Polls are being deliberately skewed so that fascists look like they are ahead. Many of the people in this country love a winner and glum onto the winners. Hey I want to be part of the winning team. So all the sheeple vote for the "winning ticket". It's not about facts. It's not about how cute Sarah is, for many its about being part of the winning team. Never mind that the winning team will throw the sheeple down under their obnoxious SUVs.
---------------
How silly is it to ask if she is qualified to be a VP. Are you Nuts? (just a rhetorical question). She can't even run a small town. Answer is big NO!
Not even close.
