Scrutiny continues over the extended roll out of Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin. After Palin's initial meetings with many world leaders at the United Nations on Tuesday, Palin, met with a number of world leaders, historical figures, and in a surprise move, many of Hollywood's biggest stars at a Republican Party fund raising event on Wednesday night at Madame Tussaud's House of Wax in New York City.

Citing security issues, press access was extremely tight as Palin mingled with Hollywood's elite. Broadcast and cable news organizations were not granted access, and the McCain Campaign allowed exclusive access only to select print photographers to this carefully staged event.

Much to the delight of the attendees (see photos), Governor Palin again delivered many of the same hard hitting, witty, and mostly untrue remarks from her acceptance speech at the recent Republican National Convention.

Surprisingly, our attempts to contact the attendees of the event were met with silence. Many of them, stunned by the apparent lack of depth of the candidate, have yet to leave the venue.

However, based on the photos alone, we can only assume that the event was a huge success.

Uh, no. You posted what I assume is an article...was it online? It mentions "see photos." Without a link, there's no way to know what this is.
