He may have fled the interview, but he just played a spade. He is basically saying look I am, and can be a leader. I can make the bold decision to cancel the debates to show you I am a leader. I can make the bold decision to head back to Washington to try to make this thing work. The whole problem with all of it is he is only following the stage managers directions. The man is not capable of making one decision and sticking to it. He aint nothing more than a fish in the bottom of a boat. And the lobbist are saying look what we caught.

McCain is going to be exposed as a two faced back stabbing liar ... Obama called him this morning to arrange for a joint statement on this issue ... McCain agrees to this then turns around and hijacks the situation and pretends this is his idea.
Fuck him!

Okay he played "fair game", however McCain still comes out looking golden to his base, and some independents and peels the voters back off Obama and back to him. McCain just moved a Bishop in terms of chess.

Exactly.
That's why Obama's response is critical. Obama could turn this into a positvie by debating McStupid on the Senate Floor.

I hope Obama learned the lesson that reaching ones hand out to a piranha will always get you bit. This is the jab Obama gets for experience. Obama needs to find a way, other than verbal, to slam grandpa and hard. If grandpa makes one mis step, or misses one meeting Obama needs to slam him against the wall for it.

McCain's gonna be lucky to get out of this campaign without having most of his campaign staff actually arrested and brought up on charges for creating this banking nightmare.

McCain also changes the subject of the conversation from Palin, tongue screaming irrational pta mom fighting over the color of the decorations at the table, to the subject of his choosing.

I'm gonna jump in and take a stab at it...what is being discussed here is McCain's announcement that he wants the debate postponed (his word for cancelled) and he is suspending his campaign "to bring the parties together" or some such high-minded sounding excuse.
