What you think Lib, did Lennon have a future in forecasting the weather? Add in Yoko and they could of tag teamed the forecast by storm.

You know, I've often wondered about that lately. Things seem so out of control and people seem so defeated or oblivious to what's happening around us. Lennon had a way of directing your attention to what's happening, without making you feel freaked out or overwhelmed. At least that was my reaction to how he presented problems.
I am really missing him and Johnny Cash lately. Both were heroes to me musically and socially.

My husband and I talk about this quite a bit. My in-laws are huge, huge Beatles fans and crazy, rabid Lennon fans (my BIL had a Corgi named "Lennon", and when she passed they got a new one they named "Karma"). I suspect he would have become a significant force for positive change in the world. Kind of like Ghandi or the Dalai Lama by way of Bono.

Our generation always had the fear/war mongers, they were just outnumbered for a while. Now they are the ones with the money and power and we are the ones working lower paying jobs trying to keep our heads above water so the kids can get an education.
Life might be missed while you're busy making plans, but sometimes life ain't what its cracked up to be.
