Although I think that outsiders should tread carefully when commenting on the politics of other countries, I am sure you can appreciate that because of the Bahamas' close proximity to the USA and our reliance on just about everything we need for day to day life being imported from the USA, (gas is now $5.24 a gall, btw) we have a keen interest in what happens in this very important and historic political race. As a woman I have been very thrilled to see Hillary Clinton get so far, although I do not like her all that much, it's still history in the making and a very important step for America. Of course, in Britain we have already had a woman Prime Minister in Margaret Thatcher. But it is far more exciting to see Barack Obama doing so well, and we have great hopes for him and America, and the world, should he become president in November.
I also am a big fan of Keith Olbermann
And on a humorous note, we have a quaker parrot who is a chatty little fella, and I was just trying to teach him to say "Obama for President"...when he is learning a new phrase he usually listens to me, then punctuates it with a loud screech.......after I had repeated "Obama for President" a few times, apparently he became bored and said "WHAT-EVER!!!" I think he has been listening to too much CNN..........
