Has anyone noticed the left eye of John McCain? It is different from what it looked liked 3 weeks back!
Mac's complexion is peaked and the Melanomanized left cheek has grown in size over the past few weeks.
And now, McCain is stating that he wants a "pass" on Friday's debate; pass when we are going thru "the GREAT DEBACLE" of Wall STREET and the Financiers! This is NOT the time to hold off debating the "issues" between these two men, one on one! If anything, both candidates MUST express their "plan" to carry the nation to solvency and have his plan openly questioned!

Instead, the MSM is pushing FEAR, FEAR, FEAR-- all accented by the BUSH speech last night! If ever, we need the candidates to express their "views", and economic plan for our future,....IT is FRIDAY!

McCain and Obama must debate these issues now. No more delaying Mac! You have made charges and stated that the Democratic candidate is "lacking" whether it be the economy, the "war on terror", etc. Well, this Friday is your "opportunity" to prove what you have been pushing! You have asked for this confrontation! So, let's get it on!

Question is....is McCain the Stronger, the smarter, the more Presidential, etc. Well backing away from what you have PUSHED for....is an indicator of "weakness", Not Strength!

Is Big Mac's health Failing 40 days before the election. We need to know NOW, not 3 weeks after the election! Is he a "walking dead man" on steroids and pain killers,...with the Neo-Cons stalling long enough for THE ELITE PLAN to work? Get the Elite's Choice in the Catbird's seat....not McCain, but Frau Palin. She 's perfect as a barbie doll president....a puppet for the Corporate elite! She'll wear what ever "they" pick out for her, and she'll wear it smartly! hmmmm

Be smarter than the average bear, citizen! Keep the heat on! Let's have the debate Friday, for America's sake....not the corporatists'!

McCain looks so bad that really, he doesn't look like he's going to make it to the election, health records being out or not. The debate might put him over the edge, and he would have to know that, so maybe everyone insisting that he go ahead with it would force him to acknowledge - oh wait a minute, he'll come up with something else, throw another curve ball in there.

Well, I don't know about his physical health but from my observations the man would benefit from the counsel of mental health professionals.

The eye trick... that caused by stress and fear of having to ever debate economic issues with Obama. That's why they demanded a foreign policy topic first which should be easier for Grampy, in theory. omg.gif

Interesting thread as I've noticed this unhealthy trend in McCain. He does not look well, on top, etc. Guess that is what happens when you have sold your soul, and have to keep track of the mounting lies and which version of what story to tell today.

There has been mention on another thread the movie "Being There". Another film that I've been thinking about more so is Inherit the Wind. Not just some similarities in themes, e.g. the Scopes Money Trial and that has a bazillion interpretations there, but the story's ending is... well... swap 'debate' and 'trial'. I do not wish that on McCain or any American. Prefer to send Mr. McCain back to his 7 or 8 or 11 homes to enjoy retirement, and Palin back to mooseburgers and trooper-gate to enjoy, um, what I don't know. The view of Russia I guess, and what I am sure are a boatload of people waiting to complete the investigation(s).

But Inherit the Wind has been eerily on my mind for several weeks.

And speaking of the appearance of diminishing health... who's the 3rd string QB in this ticket? Can they reach back in the ranks and pull, er.... who off the bench, out of retirement, from the minor leagues?

Have no idea how it works, but Mitt? Rudi (say 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 9/11 really fast 5 times)? Mike (the famous Fox analyst Huckabee)? Fred (Foghorn Leghorn)?

What am I thinking? Mrs. McCain.

I've noticed. I think he's sick again. What to do?

Here's something else I found on Kos:

QUOTE
John McCain shocked everyone with his announcement yesterday that he was "suspending" his campaign to deal with the financial crisis and he suggested there was simply no time for a debate with Obama.

But, what - exactly - did he "suspend"? His surrogates are all over television, attacking Obama. His campaign ads are still running and his Internet fundraising is still operational. McCain's press crew is fully operational. He spent the day with Rick Davis, his lobbyist campaign manager. And all of his campaign offices are still open and fully operational.

And now comes word via Jonathan Martin at The Politico that McCain will spend the evening doing interviews on ABC, NBC, and CBS.

Sounds like the only thing John McCain wants to put on hold is the debate with Barack Obama. And who could blame him? He's got a lot of explaining to do to the American people about how the GOP and their cronies got us into this mess.

OK, have to draw a line here. I know nobody has suggested it, but I do hope he's not in some kind of physical crisis.

I detest conservatives, but I don't want any physical ill will to happen to them.

Oh gosh, I can't imagine people would HOPE he's seriously sick. Maybe he just has a cold, he can look really bad and it could just be something simple. At the same time, if he IS seriously ill, it just raises some incredibly serious questions.

People have noticed the bad eye and worsening complexion over here on Aussie TV as well. They are certainly following this drama VERY closely because as they keep saying every day on the news programs, if America goes down, it won't be long til they do too. They are just beginning to feel the effects here, and know it will get much worse.

I also think Bush isn't looking all that well these days either...anybody else think so?

Two more days til I come back to the Disunited Place of Amurika.

Can't say I'm thrilled about it...and that's not good, I think...

I truly think that it is not John McCain at all...I think that it is Dick Cheney in a flayed John McCain skin. Notice the bumpy, knobby, ill-fitting skin. Notice the stiff and clumsy gait. It's like Buffalo Bill in "Silence of the Lambs". Cheney can't concede power, so he needs to invade another body to continue his reign of terror.

Yep! But we are the ones who are going to "Inherit this Neo-Con Wind" via SCARE tactics! Let the buggers go UNDER. We will suffer no matter which way they go---BUT if we Bail these bastards out, they go free and with billions! You and I will have to carry a great weight put on us by these "brigands of the East" {Yale, Princeton, Harvard, etc. and U. of Chicago} . The Shock Doctrine is the creation of Milton Friedman and his Chicago boys. The Reagans grabbed ahold of this plot to deregulate all government over-sight to "Swell the pockets" of the Corporate ELITE.

Business as usual was changed under Reagan! The unions were broken, and Free trade was unleashed! Without our realizing it, we became the "wild wild West" without any Sheriff to hold to the law. The Constitution was amended in order to allow free enterprise a path deregulated, and able to DO WHAT EVER they could design. The people were SOLD a bill of goods, "a chicken in every pot" but without any guidelines or restrictions.

What do you expect when the "snakes" are allowed go where ever, and when ever"? ZZZZZZZZZZZZ SNAKES on the PLANE is a reality, except its called "Snakes in your Back Yard". It's WALL STREET! AND you will have to live with WHAT THEY CHOOSE, via the government. So whose for you and I? Who can be Sherriff, and then ...who will be willing to take on all the responsibilities of being Sheriff?? And then, MOST Important...Accountable to You and I???

Whose going to arrest the BAD GUYS, citizens?? The Snakes in YOUR Back Yard are highly toxic and very unsympathetic with your NEEDS.

rofl.gif oh my god!!!

martsmart - Bush seems to me to just not being able to wait till the end of this presidency, so he can get back to golfing and whatever. Did you see his speech last night? He totally didn't care, he had no emotional investment in it. That is a comfort in the idea of the elections not being siuspended, although I guess they could still do that and have Cheney step in. But Bush doesn't seem to enjoy this job at all, maybe that's why he looks not real great right now.

I noticed exactly that myself last night. I normally scoff at this stuff, but the difference was so marked I couldn't just shrug it off.

Don't worry - help is in the wings. If he wins the vote Nov 4, the electors are pledged to Sarah.

I tend to agree...he's been a hard-werkin' little president for Cheney for nearly 8 years and he be ti-red...

Actually a nurse called into Jeff Farias' show today and said it could either be caused by a mini stroke, or by metastasized melanoma. He had an operation on that eye in years past due to melanoma. The stress of the campaign could have certainly caused this to get more out of control

If his cancer has metastasized, then this is a very serious issue, and we need to insist that his medical records be completely released. If the Rove machine is forcing him to stay in when he should be resting, they are essentially pushing him into his death so they can get the palin trojan horse in.

QUOTE
I realized early on with horror what I was seeing in Governor Palin: the continuation of the Rove-Cheney cabal, but this time without restraints. I heard her echo Bush 2000 soundbites ("the heart of America is on display") and realized Bush's speechwriters were writing her -- not McCain's -- speeches. I heard her tell George Bush's lies -- not McCain's -- to the American people, linking 9/11 to Iraq. I heard her make fun of Barack Obama for wanting to prevent the torture of prisoners -- this is Rove-Cheney's enthusiastic S and M, not McCain's, who, though he shamefully colluded in the 2006 Military Tribunals Act, is also a former prisoner of war and wrote an eloquent Newsweek piece in 2005 opposing torture. I saw that she was even styled by the same skillful stylist (neutral lipstick, matte makeup, dark colors) who turned Katharine Harris from a mall rat into a stateswoman and who styles all the women in the Bush orbit -- but who does not bother to style Cindy McCain.

Then I saw and heard more. Palin is embracing lawlessness in defying Alaskan Legislature subpoenas -- this is what Rove-Cheney, and not McCain, believe in doing. She uses mafia tactics against critics, like the police commissioner who was railroaded for opposing handguns in Alaskan battered women's shelters -- Rove's style, not McCain's. I realized what I was seeing.

Reports confirmed my suspicions: Palin, not McCain, is the FrankenBarbie of the Rove-Cheney cabal. The strategy became clear. Time magazine reported that Rove is "dialed in" to the McCain campaign. Rove's protege Steve Schmidt is now campaign manager. And Politico reported that Rove was heavily involved in McCain's vice presidential selection. Finally a new report shows that there are dozens of Bush and Rove operatives surrounding Sarah Palin and orchestrating her every move.

Learn more about this here... this is a very chilling opinion piece and needs to be taken seriously.

I think McCain had a Stroke. His left eye is drooping and he barely is talking lately, with very short sentences. Not to mention doing weird stuff like trying to cancel the Debates, and thinking he is needed in Washington. Plus the meeting with Bush, he barely spoke more then 3 sentences. For him to think it is important to stay in Washington is silly, his wife owns that huge plane and he can make it back to Washington after the Debates. Really, with that plane it is as easy as it would be for me to go grocery shopping and making it home for dinner, and I don't have a plane.
