China banks told to halt lending to US banks-SCMP
Wed Sep 24, 2008 9:52pm EDT

BEIJING, Sept 25 (Reuters) - Chinese regulators have told domestic banks to stop interbank lending to U.S. financial institutions to prevent possible losses during the financial crisis, the South China Morning Post reported on Thursday.

The Hong Kong newspaper cited unidentified industry sources as saying the instruction from the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) applied to interbank lending of all currencies to U.S. banks but not to banks from other countries.

"The decree appears to be Beijing's first attempt to erect defences against the deepening U.S. financial meltdown after the mainland's major lenders reported billions of U.S. dollars in exposure to the credit crisis," the SCMP said.

A spokesman for the CBRC had no immediate comment. (Reporting by Alan Wheatley and Langi Chiang; editing by Ken Wills)

Why should China continue to throw good money after bad? We can't continue to deficit spend forever. China has to look out for themselves. They have the right to do that.

My, my, what a timely annoucement. Sort of coincides with Bush's threat that WE, THE PEOPLE will suffer BIGTIME, if we don't sign on the dotted line.

ARREST THEM!!
(the banksters, that is)

Really people. Ask yourselves WHY is the Depression only in the history books as a horrible hungry time and none of the good things are shown?

A Depression would END THE GAME FOR THE FAT CATS..

It would free us from their clutches and allow us to build a nation again without them sitting on our backs.

Why don't we sit and wait this one out?

We can rebuild a better nation.

Oh yes, since other nations think we are a bad risk, the funding, the jobs, and the coming prosperity and freedom will be OURS and IN OUR HANDS.

Don't you want to be self sufficient?

I say don't bail them out. Jettison this whole thing and let them sink.

"Kill the beast. Kill the beast. Kill the beast!" Make it a mantra. Say it again and again. Chant the words!

The neo-con Republican say to Bush, "Spend whatever you wish, however you wish on whatever you wish. Fight a costly, unnecessary war! Throw billions at corporations! Bail out Wall street! Every dollar is a drop of blood from the beast! Kill the beast. Kill the beast. Kill the beast!"

Remember, never forget, Republican neo-cons HATE government! They think it is the beast! They want to kill the beast!

One problem. Lincoln said, "A government of the people, by the people, for the people." WE are the government. Now do you understand why they want to kill the beast?

WE, THE PEOPLE can do this! We don't need the FEDERAL RESERVE BANKING CARTEL.

Their system is a formula for enslavement...they even think of US as commodities..our bodies, our labor. If we sign, they've psychopathic bankers will put the peddle to the floor, before you actually know what's hit you.

The dollar is tanking no matter what we sign, now. We need to revert back to the Constitution and have Congress do its job...the Federal Reserve is ILLEGAL under the Constitution.

These bankers have stolen trillions from US, started wars, killed millions around the world...and the BAIL OUT allows them to continue their acts of genocide.

THE WAR GOES ON.

The repigs of 1865 are no where near the ones of today, they only cart out that carcass when it's convenient, then they go back to pro slavery views, Lincoln would assasinate them personally if he were alive today.
