This is why I love the peeps on this board, Phran has come to visit on her way to Madison, and I feel like I've known her for 10 years. We're having a blast, trying to play guitar, watching the Eagles on DVD, and of course, embibing!!!! She's on her way to Madison next. Anyway, this was our own mini meet up

Update--Phran has left the building!!! And the ranch, she was here about 24 fun filled hours, we really enjoyed having her here, she's off to Madison now.

That's very kind of you Tap, and yes, the visit was sweet...I've got a couple of photos, but I need to size 'em down and such...stay tuned.

Just like he said, it was as if we knew each other for years, very comfy. His wife, Ms G, is the sweetest woman ever...and their gang of animals were a sight to behold- in a good way, of course.

Madison was great, Grafton, WI (important city in blues history that I've wanted to visit) was cool and all in all, a good getaway...

The best part is knowing we are not alone in our views, and that's why we knew Phran was the real deal. We both had to resist talking politics because that would drown out all chances for a non-partisan conversation. We are so glad she came to visit us, irreguardless how drunk and high we all got. Long live the hitter box.

You know I will...I hung out with a great couple in Grafton that I could be a total blues history geek with Talking about the places/artists/general history etc...I was friggin' giddy.
