Why doesn't Obama call Old Man McCain on his constant smiling and laughing throughout his entire diatribe?

What gets me is not just the smiling and the giggling face, is that he reverts to feeble old man mode and people get the warm fuzzies and want to coddle him just like they did Ronald Reagan. He's grampy, he wouldn't start clandestine wars...noooo! McCain is as ruthless as Cheney, cut from the same cloth, I'd say. Try to criticize him to his face and see if you don't unleash a viper. I am sick of the fear-mongering and the macho posturing. I want an intelligent, reasoned president. Is that too much to ask for?
