I was listening to Rush during lunch and he lurched into a tirade about Rev. Wright and Ayers. He said he will keep reminding Real Americans what Obama is all about.
To me , this is the last card they can play. Polls indicate everything is failing and this is their last hope.

Keep piling that bullcrap Lintball, I do believe your pile is getting so great that you will need to install another wing on your mansion.

No cares about Ayers or Wright.
There's only thing that can hurt Barack, now. And that's if he's perceived to be supporting a bailout of Wall St. millionaires. The Obama campaign is probably breathing a sigh of relief that the House has voted down the bailout. The longer it takes to reach the Senate, the longer it will be before Barack has to take solid position. And I don't blame him for wanting to stay as neutral as he can. No matter what the outcome of this, a lot of people are going to be angry, and looking for someone to blame.

I couldn't agree with you more.

Obama has positioned himself adroitly on the bailout. In contrast, McCain opened mouth and inserted both of his feet therein.

Exactly, Obama has to remain in the middle until the details are clear, otherwise it's knee jerk, and that ain't his style.

When did they EVER stop piling those on?
People got bored with that and saw it for what it was when Clinton was trying to ride the coattails of that whisper campaign.
I suppose by REAL Americans he means the bigots and asshats.

Lintball will still have his listeners. He is not called a reporter, or a repundant, they call him a comedian, so laugh at him.

Ultimately, it will come up in a vote in the Senate before election day. He (Senator Obama) will have to make a choice. No fence sitting allowed on this one.

There are always ways of getting out of a vote like that at the last minute and the excuse can be valid.

What I was getting at was that Obama can sit off to the side for a bit, becasue now they have to re-write the bill, and hopefully it will get better for us, the middle class. The he can jump off the side and vote with pride and assurance. Obama is all about the middle class and the lowers class, so have faith. Magoo is not for anyone but the uber rich.
