Let's see how far it'll go, that will determine who wins the elections in November. These motherfuckers almost have their dream of drowning the US in a bathtub. I wonder if they ever thought about them being in harms way after they complete their evil task? I mean there are enough wackos out there.
BTW--The radio announcer is lying, he says it's down 500 points, that's blatent lying and spinning. 200 points off reality? Yeah, fuck me.

No it's market correcting. This was long overdue because the market was artificially inflated anyways.
It'll crap out and recorrect just like it always does. The only key is for regular people and other industries outside of the financial industry to simply relax, let the market do it's thing, and move on.

We got problems? Yep. Is the country going to collapse because we didn't give Bush and the boys what they wanted when they wanted it? I doubt it. According to Yahoo fianance right now the Dow is down 575.70. And seems to be climbing. I think we'll live. Manufactured? Wouldn't be surprised if there was a little of that going on

This is only the first turd that's hit the fan. Looks like the DOW is going to close around -600 today. Question is, will there be a week of this? In the meantime, it's back to the drawing board. So Bush & Paulson didn't get the big 700B cardiac needle they wanted for Wall Street. Maybe we can figure a way to put it on a slow IV drip that doesn't bleed

Bring out the Woody Guthrie songs:
This land is your land, this land is my land
From California to the New York Island
From the Redwood Forest to the Gulf Stream waters
This land was made for you and me.
In the squares of the city, In the shadow of a steeple;
By the relief office, I'd seen my people.
As they stood there hungry, I stood there asking,
Is this land made for you and me?

Unbelieveable. I cannot believe this is happening to us. Our dollar is almost worthless, like monopoly money. I am thankful my family and I are still above water. We still live comfortably, although I wish our rent was $500 cheaper, so that we can pay off his college loans faster. I've always felt we as a country should have focused on ourselves (our economy) instead of this Iraq War. The bailout was rejected because there will always be those few people in this world who will forever hold the best cards (I'm talking like a casino game). Those special interest groups will protect those who hold the power no matter what, even if it means our country goes to capput.

You said a mouth full.
It does create some problems but, we always have to deal with those.
I was talking with a neighbor who use to be in banking, his opinion is we have about 30 days b4 all hell breaks loose. The point where the local grocer is having problems meeting payroll and buying stock etc.

But the greedy scum don't change. They just move on. They'd take free money if it was offered, but if not then oh well, on to other tricks. They work the way that predators do - take the weakest. If the taxpayers aren't the easiest meal then maybe other banks will be, or maybe shareholders.
Or to put it another way, the devil take the hindmost.
For all of that, you'd think that the House Regressives would at least figure out how to turn this into a victory for free enterprise, and not whine about how Pelosi spanked them.
