The Republicans listened to their constituents, The American Public, and they also knew it was wrong that stop free trade, but not to look bad in-front of the country because this deal was so important they needed to "blame somebody".

Just my opinion though.

Thanks CWV...I was wondering the same damn thing. Can we get a translator over here, please?

We all knows who fault it is. GOP, the public knows it too.

Sarah Palin couldn't have said it any clearer ... really, she couldn't.

Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act

Is it the Gramm, the Leach, the Bliley or the Act that you don't understand.

He does seem to have the same verbal meltdown problem that '76 had.

And in another thread he spelled "spirit" as "spirt."

Yep. I'm convinced there's a consistent psychological profile amongst that species.

It's right about dinner time, maybe the Thorazine is kicking in.

I know my On line Tourette's Syndrome is unusual, but the way some of the Righty types seem to slur their speech in type is a new one on me.

Alot of the Republicans said they didn't vote for the bill to "protest" what Nancy Pelosi said about them.

But in my opinion, I think it was an excuse not to look bad for not voting for such an important bill, because, it really wasn't American, and they actually listened to their constituents.

Spot on! The republican party are playing both sides of the coin. They knew if they supported this Gordon Gekko bailout of Teldar "worthless" Paper they would be political toast (if not for the next 30 years already) for eternity. Because the GOP knew the scam...they devised it and put it into action via Shrub 43.

The GOP is totally at fault and trying to blame Pelosi's speech is a pathetic attempt at hedging their bet. Thanks IndpendentConserLibertarian. wink.gif

I'd have to agree with you. They are failing miserably at convincing people that it is the dems fault, and the repugs can't manage to control their own party so they look stupid. The republican party is collapsing is what's going on. rofl.gif Karma is a bitch.

IndpendentConserLibertarian: Sarah is that you?
IndpendentConserLibertar
Yes, the Republicans are to blame for the whole mess, and why the country needs the bail out in the first place.

I not disputing that.
