Sarah Palin is just a change in the costume, change in the gender, but other than that she's the same old pathetic right-wing survivalist klan-loving racist cracker the Republicans have always claimed that they love. She's being used and she is doing the using, batting her eyes, leering at the men while chanting with a moan (in the Vice Presidential Debate, being watched by millions): "It's Drill Baby, Drill." I expected her to rip off the jacket and start singing "Happy Birthday Mr. President McCain" at any moment, but I guess her meds kicked in just in time.
"From the poverty shacks, she looks from the cracks to the tracks,
And the hoof beats pound in her brain.
And she's taught how to walk in a pack
Shoot in the back
With her fist in a clinch
To hang and to lynch
To hide 'neath the hood
To kill with no pain
Like a dog on a chain
She ain't got no name
But it ain't her to blame
She's only a pawn in their game."
[Bob Dylan, "A pawn in their game," pronoun modified.

palin may be just a pawn, but if repubs have their way, she could end up with the crown and the sword...powerful, dangerous and able to move only one square at a time, and in only one direction...

You guys are so worried about some country that will become history (just like the old USSR) in a coupla years (if THAT long).
There will BE no United States by 2010- we'll all be saying "Remember that chick that was in charge of some country that went belly up?"

Forget the debate. We all knew that Palin would be totally scripted and rehearsed.
My issue is with WHAT HELL WAS PALIN DOING HAVING THAT BABY OUT SO LATE LAST NIGHT? Is that was really does? Carry that BABY all around at all times of night? GREAT mom--wouldn't ya say?

It is disgusting how she uses the baby - her entire family - as a shield against her own ignorance. (The baby
is cute, though.) Joe's genuine emotion when talking about his family was far more powerful than Palin parading hers.

The baby is a prop, one more bit of proof that this is all about her. She's not only a shitty mother, but she is a shitty legislater no matter what team she is on.

Which time zone was the debate held? Wasn't really all that late there, and really a lot earlier than their home time zone. Babies aren't so fragile that being out late injures them. OK OK that is ENOUGH defending...she is worthless with or without the baby. That crap was all about "family-values" image, nothing more, and we all know how they REALLY view family values.

By the way, I missed most of the show today, and wondered if amongst all the other much more important points, anyone noticed the setup Palin made. I watched on C-Span, so no commentators, and the mikes were on as they entered the stage for the debate. SP asked VP Biden, "Can I call you Joe?" as they were shaking hands, right before the blowing of the kiss crap.
Later that played into her "folksy" nonsense, with the "Oh no, say it ain't so Joe" .
Notice that VP Biden always addressed her as "Governor", and not by her name.
Pretty petty point, but I thought it was a point of interest, as I am much more impressed by the professional demeanor, than the "folksy" bullshit act.

I'm thinking of starting a Baby Trig fanclub with the slogan, "Free the Baby!", complete with a good old fashioned leftist socialist commie pinko big government intervention with the dreaded Secularist Nanny State coming in to rescue him from conservative exploitation lol.
Seriously, though. He is a little cutie. I wish he didn't have to be put through all of her crapola.

McCain/Palin is just like Bush/Chenney. Bush was the folksy, man you could have a beer with and Chenney was "in the shadows, the dark side if you will". Randi has often said that Bush was the salesman, that's what palin is.
Can you by definition have a "team" of mavericks?Isn't a team of mavericks just a heard?

I bet she goes at night and cries herself to sleep. She's a loser and now the whole entire fucking country knows it. Her friends will desert her in droves, who wants to hang out with losers? Todd will start drinking heavily if he hasn't already, and knock up the babysitter/ maid. Scarah will go back to Brian and ruin his marriage while Bristol gets married and divorced within one year.
Any takers on bets?

she can be a pawn in the game, they can play the game dirty they can even cheat at the game. But when i listen to peoples response it seems like Obama / Biden changed the game and left the McPalin standing on the Fifty yard line with their tennis shorts, sweater and racket.
