This shit is bone chilling: http://www.oftwominds.com/blogsept08/crash9-08.html Did Hoover have control of the US citizens around the the stock market crash of 1929?

These guys run a web bot program and have been warning of an Oct 7th +/- 3days release language warning for over a month at least. They were on Coast to Coast AM couple weeks ago warning the economy was not anywhere near close to resolving itself. They have a formula giving the probability of 40% economic or 40% military being involved in the release action.

LOL, makes me glad I am broke with only a very low vet bill outstanding. As a friend once said a decade ago that it was better to be at the bottom of society because you are use to being poor and nobody pays attention to you.

Everyplace I have ever been - the poor people are happy and generous while the hot shots just never look anything but angry.

I am basically poor now. Most of the people on this board are not wealthy. It concerns me because there is talk about martial law and Bush declaring it in a time of crisis, which means he could cancel the election.

I'm also seeing crap on right wing sights about Islamic attacks. rolleyes.gif And about how there is supposed to be an unbelievably horrible 5 months ahead of us or something. Just google martial law 2008 and google tomorrows date.

So should I pretend like a blizzard is coming and run out to get some bread and milk?

Perhaps an assault rifle...

I don't know. lol I'm kinda scared to go to work tomorrow actually. Some people think that 9/11 was somewhat of a coverup because our economy was so bad.

EDIT: I just hope that if they declare martial law they don't shut everybody up.

You know what probably nothing is going to happen except the dow going down, which is expected. This is fear mongering because they are losing everything.

The rightwing sites and the more tinfoil hat sites have been in a tizzy for almost 3 weeks now. The Steve Quayle site had a regular commentator telling people last week to "bug out" get cash out for an emergency and to stock up and "be ready". The commentator is saying that in the next 4-6 weeks the sh*t will hit the fan.

I find it fascinating how on many right, conspiracy, fundie-religious sites are converging in the flurry of paranoia. As the Chinese say,"May you live in interesting times." LOL, well sadly we are in interesting times. I'll take me ol grandmother's advice.. listen, discern wisely, and have a stash of food and necessities on hand just in case, and read as many divergent news sources as you can get your hands on. LOL, of course she didn't have the Internet but anybody that survived the world wars, depression, civil rights, etc and still be sane has to know how the people get in times of crisis. Let's face it most of us now have never lived through truly rough times. Just hope all this isn't going to be made worse by the powerful, greedy few.

Gawd, I am turning into a tin foil wearer. LOL!

If they try to impose martial law I really don't think anybody will stand for it.

Should I call Randi?

I personally would wait and see how things unravel, seems right now too many people are flipping out because of money concerns. Now if the people who are predicting ruin trend out to be right..well.. then I would call. Right now I feel like this is all a test to see how easily the masses can be manipulated. Seems like the fringes are being psy op-ed but then again, LOL, I am a certifiable crazy person. LOL! smile.gif

LOL, altho I did go out and buy some extra food this weekend...just in case. Nothing else with food inflation I have some food for the winter and lunches.

OMG if they ever thought to impose martial law THAT would cause a massive uprising! Now that is when I find a good hole to hide in from all the guns.

Wonder how good these web bot predictions run anyway? Anybody been following these for any number of years?

I don't know anything about the web bots. But look at this: http://www.halfpasthuman.com/NuHPHTheFuture.htm I hope that's true. The masses are not being very easily manipulated right now. I think they've had enough.

I'm talking about the revolution part of it. Not the disaster of course. We already had a disaster though basically.

With a tiny sliver of exceptions, specifically the screwball survivalist cults, some biker gangs and a sprinkling of armed paranoid psychopaths, the American People are presently incapable of uprising. Populations are analogous to biological organisms in that too much fat and not enough exercise is ruinous to them. It will take years of grinding hardship and poverty before the surviving, sufficiently angered American proletariat will be ready, willing and able to rebel against the despotism which is incrementally descending upon them.

Most contemporary Americans have too much to lose to even consider resisting what BushCo has in store for them. And by the time they are willing to accept what has happened to them and understand how it happened it will be too late to do anything about it because of their presently softened and complacent condition.

The clock is about to strike thirteen.

Sadly true...all we have to do is look at the months and even years after 9-11 and see the rights we blindly allowed to be stolen. Heck, there are still people who do not see the problem with the Patriot act, Torture, etc, etc, etc. Baaaa Baaa Baaa we want our HDTVs and cheap gas Baaa BAaaaa..... Bleech!!

But then again that is why we are here on the RRMBs! We see through the BS! Yeah for the RRMB my hope, my fact finder and my sanity!

29 days and counting til election day! Ohh just had an twisted vision of the election juxtaposed with the movie 28 Days Later! Where is my weed and Jack? LOL!

I'm sorry but I strongly disagree. You think that if Bush tries to keep the presidency by declaring martial law, the minorities are just gonna sit there and take that? Hell no. This isn't 2004. People are aware of the stolen elections. There are going to be riots in the streets if martial law is called. Also it's only up to you. You can choose to do something about it or you can just sit in your house groaning about how they stole another election. This isn't up to the other people besides you. You can be involved. And I don't think Barack is going to let them get away with that either. Did you not learn anything from the response to the bailout? The people don't trust their government anymore. They are pretty damn pissed off right now.

But those were different times.... People are more aware of what is going on now. Otherwise they wouldn't have opposed the bailout like that. And those things you are talking about are not equatable to daily living. IF they try to cheat Obama out of this election, people will know it's bull. They are turning out in record numbers to vote for this guy. There will be a revolt of some kind. I don't know what exactly but I know I will not just sit back and take it. I hope you guys won't either. I don't care if they put me in jail. I'm sick of them stealing elections.... I will not lose my country to these asses.

... likely to be spectacular. The rock will release about 1 kiloton of energy in the atmosphere – the equivalent of a low-energy nuclear bomb, says Milani. But it's not clear whether it will do so all at once or over a longer period, perhaps lasting a minute or so.

It will hit the atmosphere at an angle of 20°, so "it will make a long trail in the atmosphere", says Milani. "But we cannot honestly predict how long it will be. [The rock] might end up quite far – above the Red Sea or Saudi Arabia – or it might explode and disappear sooner."

If it disintegrates all at once, it would produce a bright flash of light and a loud sonic boom, says Chesley.
This space rock is so small it is unlikely to cause any damage. "The only concern is that [the explosions] might be interpreted as something else, that is man-made explosions. Thus in this case, the earlier the public worldwide is aware that this is a natural phenomenon, which involves no risk, the better"

I hope you know some of these people. I've seen none, other than my immediate friends. Most people I know are hell-bent against letting a Dem get in office to "ruin" the country.

The people I know are by and large too fat, lazy, and colossally infantile to fight. The few of us who are willing and able to fight are cussed at and blamed for what is wrong with this country.

Randi keeps mentioning that the people have figured things out. I want to know where these people are! I want to talk with them! My little group of friends wants to talk to them!

I'm very familiar with the black community because my boyfriend is black and most of my coworkers are black.

But even if you don't know any of them, there are thousands maybe millions of people who told their senators not to sign that bill. I don't think that was made up.

You know people on here too. Yeah I know it's not the same thing but you can't rule that out. It's called community organizing. lol

EDIT: Most people I talk to who aren't republican know that Bush stole those elections.

It is true that whenI called my senator I had to do it SEVERAL times because his voice mail was full. I'm just not sure - full of what.

I want to have more faith that people ARE figuring things out.
