Full Version: Bailout will be Bush crony insurance

Bush knew of the coming economic collapse, so he, Cheney, and his PNAC buddies probably conceived of the bailout and pushed it through in lightning speed. The real reason? My guess is to provide reassurance to the GOP corporate lifeblood that if they support Republican causes and McCain gets elected, then THEY will see the crony cash while their competitors will dry up and blow away.

This way even if Obama does win, those corporate alliances will be rewarded in Bush's final days as president, just like those covering up the Bush/Cheney/Rove crime spree will take comfort under the blanket of pardons Bush will toss around prior to Jan. 20. Even in defeat, the Nero cons running the GOP would take the last jab at the guts of America by tilting the markets towards their longtime supporters at the peril of the rest of the economy.

Face it. They want Obama to have no money to work with, no path to succeed, no American goodwill to draw on throughout the world. Sabotage now is the only hope for the GOP in 2012, and they're more than willing to do it now at the expense of all of us.

Interesting how Bush's actual TOOLS to push this through came in the form of Pelosi and Reid. How disappointing. Both parties are at fault. There should be no bailout for anyone - Main Street nor Wall Street. Greed should not be rewarded at any level whatsoever. Whether it's the Wall Streeters living in a big manner or whether it's the guy who couldn't get off the Refi bus because he was getting all his 'toys' on a buy-now-pay-later plan that he was unable and unwilling to actually ever pay for, it's all the same. I do not advocate bailing out anyone. We learn from our mistakes. We do not learn if someone keeps hauling one's ass out of trouble.

Tough love. America needs it. NOW.
