These people are conditioned to to associate anything that they don't like as "liberal". When these people here the name of a Democrat their minds shut down to the point where facts and logic don't apply. Watching footage of the McCain/Palin rallies reminds me of the two minutes hate from Orwell's 1984.

I'm convinced that Obama will win and I hope that these people spend more time in the real world instead of retreating to the safety of the crazy right wing talk radio shows. Our economic collapse woke a lot of people up but I'm not sure what it will take to get through to the rest of them.
