I love the 2CV. The top rolls back like a sardine can. You can build one yourself with nothing more than some sheet metal and an IKEA tool. It's a fabulous automobile.

I totally agree... It's got that special "joie de vivre" charm... like baguette and fromage...
and vin rouge... and Gauloises
That first model in the picture is adorable! The single windshield wiper is attached to a string leading to the dashboard and you manually have to move it back and forth via a switch when it rains...
I guess it's their minimalistic design and construction that make them so easy to fix... and they'll be around forever, I betcha
Btw... somebody told me once that they weren't allowed in the States. Is that true?
