Last night I quickly finished up my errands and rushed home to turn on the debates. With all of the name calling (“TERRORIST”) and calls to “KILL HIM!” regarding Obama coming from the McCain and Palin rallies, I thought that the debate had the potential to contain some real fireworks. Boy was I wrong. Even with the vanilla answers, there were some things that were reinforced by this debate:

• Barack Obama looks and acts like the President.
• McCain is easily agitated
• Tom Brokaw is a poor debate moderator

It was a bland repeat of the first debate. As far as I’m concerned, if they’re not going to provide us with any new information, it’s not going to affect the election, so let’s just cancel the next debate. The regular TV shows will be more interesting.
