The klondike bar had its US roots with the Icelay family dairy dellis in both Youngstown, Ohio and Pittsburgh, PA.

Here's a old recipe I used years ago:

Slice a Ho Ho length wise and place on a microwavable paper plate.

Place your favorite flavor of Klondike bar on top.

Nuke it for about 20 seconds or untill it starts to melt.


Next eat it and enjoy before your grand kids get up.

Well I can't eat them anymore, but they are.
You can also substitute your favorite cake, like angel food with strawberries and the Klondike on top.

I have a dietetic Klondike once in a while, and sometimes sugarless Popsicles.

Here's what I do, take a Klondike put it in a bowl, chop it up and fill the bowl with milk. I'm addicted to these.
