It's sad that you are blinded to the evil this man [Obama] represents. For example

1) Supported killing babies born alive. Voted 4 times to let them die. Not sure how the guy sleeps at night. I can picture those babies crying themselves to death.
2) Ties to domestic terrorist regardless if it happened 40 years ago. It represents bad judgement to involve yourself with this man. Oh by the way he never repented and just a few weeks ago reiterated that he was still not sorry. Pathetic!! Just the kind of judgement we need for prez.
3) Strong ties to another questionable character Felon Rezko.
4) Took campaign contributions from Islamic terrorists - Hamas
5) Trained Acorn personnel on how to commit voter fraud.
6) Attended over 500 services at an America hating church.
7) Refused to wear an American flag pin after 9/11

OK, goaded by some RRMBers chatting on another thread, I've paid a little visit to the Sean Hannity Message Board. You know those folks waiting in lines at Palin events who talk to the YouTube cameras? I've met some of them. I posted a bit, but it feels all... icky.

I guess I can understand the fun of tweaking some of these folks. They're easily tweaked, that's for sure. But in the end, life's too damned short, and it's not like anyone is going to come up with the magic words to wake up a few of them.

On the other hand, there are clearly a handful of sane folks who try to talk sense. But they are shouted down pretty quickly and thoroughly, and with trash the caliber of that seen above. I guess there's no need to ban when they're simply overwhelmed by shrieking fools like this -

I was a Hannity board gadfly for four years until I was summarily and permanently banned last week for broaching the forbidden subject of Sarah Palin's children (despite the fact she parades them around like a circus act). The place has changed a lot in the four years I participated. It's gone from being one of the most lively and tolerant boards to a domain for shrill ultraconservative right wing survivalists. This past year has seen the purging of dozens of longtime liberal posters and the increasing abstinence of thinking conservatives.

McCain's boat is sinking and the right wingers--who never had much good to say about McCain in the first place--are scared and desperate.

Wow, four years? Have you gotten some help for the PTSD you must be suffering? I couldn't do that kind of board for four days. Sometimes this board gets a little rough for me.

Really guys, don't do this. Don't go to other boards just to see how fast you can get banned. Its really not cool. These people are just sad, starting anything with them is like beating up on a 2 year old. You've got more body strength and there is nothing cool about beating up a 2 year old. Here you've got people with the emotional intelligence of 2 year olds, you're the adult, there is nothing cool about going in there and antagonizing them.
