Randi states that the polls are not correct because there are so many young voters who do not have landlines. She needs to include people like me who have caller ID and will not answer a unknown call or a phone number I do not recognize. That could skew the polls, too.

that's a very good point. Everyone who's important to me knows uses my cell number. I use my land line as my "home phone" to collect all the calls I don't want, and those are screened via caller-ID. I wonder how many other voters do the same...

And what about OLD people who don't have landlines?

I'm forty-four, not quite old yet but certainly a long way from young.

Elections are won by undecided and independent voters. These voters are not as passionate as us Dem or right wing Rep, and from what I hear they are totally disgusted by Palin racist remark on the campaign trail and for being out there throwing that meat in the middle of The Redneck Riviera to get Ignorant America all worked up. That's why McCain - Palin are tailing Obama by double digits.
