Randi said she got in trouble with listeners when referring to certain voters as "uninformed" which I think is better than "unintelligent" which is how I sometimes describe certain voters. LOL But a friend of mine said something interesting. He refers to the undecided voters as "lacking intellectual curiosity."
I LIKED IT.

I don't know why she'd get in trouble for that. I've been canvassing ad can say without a doubt that there are a LOT of under-informed people who plan to vote. Maybe "under-informed" would get less snark than "uninformed"?

Under-informed is more descriptive. That covers those who might not have the money to BE informed.
It's because we liberals tend to be arrogant.
Under-informed also covers those who choose NOT to know anything (which in my estimation is a brain disorder). Not being curious enough - like BOZO the Clown George, Sarah You Betcha Palin, and John Failed up McCain.

People in the region where I live seem to be mis-informed. They hear one side of the political dialog, and that's the far right side. The local ABC affiliate is owned by Sinclair, so....The NBC and CBS affiliates are outside the area.
A lot of people don't hear enough of any news to be informed voters. I know that when I worked, for many years I worked 72-80 hours a week every week and I didn't even vote. Later, when I had the time to both hear the news, and vote, I didn't vote because I just didn't get unbiased news about the candidates.

Brainwashed. Maybe because of excessive exposure. Maybe because of lack of curiosity. Maybe because no one's offered them the red pill?

The people that don't actively pursue the truth from many sources doesn't get me down, Darwin has a place for them in the history books.

This is the case in my region too. Nobody has even heard of Randi or Thom or Stephanie - a democrat is an evile monster that wants to tax hardworking "joe six-pack" half-senseless (the other half is all ready senseless I guess). There is NO other side here. Almost everybody in this part of the state is voting for McCain.
The lack of anything even resembling more than one side drove me nucking futs for the first ten years of living here. Satellite - ahhhhhhh my sweet, sweet satellite, and internet.

I like the suggestion of the caller who gave Ed Schultz the label "low information voters".

Come to beautiful New Jersey where the water
is brown, but the voters are blue

California may be blue as the blue Pacific, but last weekend I drove through some rural farming regions where the signs mostly read: "Use your BRAIN: Vote MC CAIN!"
All put in place by people who mostly deal in spreading large quantities of fertilizer in the remote hope that something beautiful will grow out of it...
