I really can't stand to watch most of it. It just seems like... There's a confusion in them on what they want to achieve.
Johns: Gay hustler meets other Gay hustler, sort of fall in love, one of them dies in the end.
Billy's Hollywood Screen Kiss: Older guy falls for younger male model, goes through realization you're not going to always get what you want and you have to live your life.
I only saw part of Trick before I turned it off.
I haven't seen, but hopefully these are good:
Brokeback Mountain -
Good from a dramatic point of view but it's not exactly what I would consider a gay film, it's more of a digestible version for mainstream America (since it doesn't actually explore the gay culture in any way aside from the fact that two men fall in love). But, I'm a Cheerleader -
Funny, over the top, ridiculous. If you're looking for something that's so absurd that you want to laugh, this would be alright.Transamerica -
I wouldn't categorize this so much as a gay film but it does fall into the GLBT category. It's a good movie, I own it and I've watched it a few times.Another Gay Movie -
Absolutely hilarious. Watch it, even if you hate it, it's great for a few laughs unless you're really opposed to raunchy humor.Anything by Colt... Oh wait, scratch that off. I don't think they're going for art there.

There are few that I strongly recommend:
Broken Hearts Club - A look at 20-30 something gay men and relationships in Hollywood. Great cast and acting, great screenplay.
Latter Days - A look at the difficulties facing a young Mormon man. It's cute, warmhearted but serious too.
Beautiful Thing - A coming of age film focused on love between two teenage boys in London. Received many awards, it's a great movie.
Get Real - A coming of age film focused on coming out and the difficulties keeping a relationship secret when your lover isn't exactly wanting to come out. Again received many awards and is an excellent film.
There are many more, these are just a few I mention off the top of my head.
