Just got the local scoop that Seneca County has very recently signed a contract with the Army for training
additional soldiers (1500 at a time, 10 times a year) at the "former" Seneca Army Depot because they're all
out of space at Fort Drum. Onward to Iran?
Troops will train at former depot
ROMULUS, NY- For the first time in eight years, the Army will back on the grounds of the former Seneca Army
Depot.
Up to 1,500 active duty soldiers from Fort Drum in Watertown could be coming to the former depot for light maneuver training sessions. Fort Drum has run out of room for training, prompting a request to bring the soldiers here.
