I think that couple put the confessional box to very good use. And when they were done, assuming that they weren't married and had therefor been engaging in a form of fornication, they could call the priest into the other half and confess right there. Time saver.

How unlike anyone in the Catholic church to actually find the courage to look behind the curtain. Surely the expected to find the priest and a member of the parish's Cub Scout den.

This was the best use of a church confessional I've ever heard of.
