Message to the author of that letter:

Read a theory before you try to argue with it.

I was reading that letter and thinking, wow, this guy's pretty good and then as I got toward the end it started to sink in that he was serious. I'm no scientist but Anthony's ignorance of the way science and specifically evolution is supposed to work leaves my own ignorance in the dust.

He is a living example of what happens when societies start rejecting science and rational observation testing and inquiry in favor of revealed "truth" and Biblical reality. Didn't the theory of evolution grow up from the same kind of thinking that brought us the computers that these idiots use to generate and disseminate their crap on? If we'd followed their approach over the years we'd still be scratching things out on rocks.

I totally agree. But if they going to be consistent about this these people, in their daily lives, should be happy to dispense with anything that was invented after about 33 CE. They need to walk the walk here. tongue.gif

Well, it's a right up to a certain point. When that right starts to interfere with the legal rights of others, or impacts others' lives, then one's right to be ignorant is questionable conditioned on specific circumstances.

Dear Anthony Tester,
Evolution should be taught in schools. I planted some tomato seeds in my garden and I swear that they evolved. I now have several varieties of weeds growing where I planted tomatos.
This is proof positive that evolution is working!
