Chaiman of the RNC says they are going to get ugly with Obama early. They will link him to every past association in ads from Rezko to Ayers. Here we go. Are we not getting tired of this crap. Start going to fightthesmears.com and as soon as one smear comes out, report it, and send the rebuttal to all of your friends that are going to vote for McSame, and send you all those chain mails about Barack Hussien. It is up to us to hit back and make this backfire.
Democrats had every opportunity to hit back at the Right Wing Noise Machine with the election of coke-snorting, hard-drinking party boy George W. Bush, an easy target, but chose politesse over being politically effective. George got a pass and Dan Rather lost his job and the fourth estate and the political opposition inexplicably fell in line. If we do it again and fail to bring to the fore the many questions about John McCain's military experience, his involvement in the Keating S&L scandal and his present mental and physical fitness to serve, I am confident that we will have a repeat of B43. Once McCain has been installed in the White House through the same process of relentless corporate media propaganda, smears against the opposition and massive voter fraud, Democrats will roll their eyes and marvel that Americans could be so stupid as to elect such a dolt
when they could have prevented it.
I would really hate to see this happen again. It is not enough to assume a defensive strategy and limit ourselves to respoding to the smears and lies, we need to aggressively expose the crimes and ask the hard questions about Mr. McCain.
