Anyone going to the NYC events?

Pride is still a ways off for us. We'll probably go to Vancouver BC Pride, first weekend in August I think. Anybody been to Palm Springs Pride? We've been thinking it might be fun to check that one out, mainly for some November sunshine.

In my hometown we have 2 pride events: South FL Pride which is celebrated in April and The Fort Lauderdale Stonewall Street Festival which it takes place in mid June. I have been to the one in Atlanta , it's huge. This will be my 1st time for NY Pride. I am so excited, also going to the Pier dance on Sunday. Where are you located Tyo, if I may ask?

We're in Portland, OR. For the time being. For a year at least I'd guess. Portland's Pride is actually this weekend, but we're headed out of town tomorrow. Too bad in a way cuz this is gonna be the first (partially) sunny weekend this place has had in a looong time. Portland is wet and gloomy most of the time, but when it's not wet and gloomy it can be beautiful.

Oh, yes. I'll be there the entire week, working. Some of us work. I'll be hanging out with us sexy Obama/Hamas supporters as you call us and other glitterati. My best friend, a former Hilliary supporter, now Obama supporter, is performing at some of the events. I'm interviewing some bands and hosting a panel for Remix Magazine at their panel that week. Lots of Obama and former Hilliary supporters all together, and, sorry hon, but adults only.

LOL if this was directed to me or Kyo...Kyo lives in the Pacific Northwest and will not be going to the NYC events. I, will be at the Pier off on 13th st for the DJ Tracy Young Party...
