Go VOTE North Carolina and Indiana!

Did anyone think that North Carolina and Indiana would be so important during the primary season? Ummm YEAH, I did. And if you’re reading this, you did too.

Here’s what’s at stake today: Indiana has 72 Delegates while North Carolina has 115.

These are the last "big states" to vote in the primary and the superdelegates should know what they are going to do after tonight.

THE MATH

There are 264 undeclared Superdelegates left.

Here’s the current pledged and Superdelegate count:

Total Pledged Delegates

Clinton 1338
Obama 1492

Superdelegates

Clinton 273
Obama 258

Total Delegates

Clinton 1611
Obama 1750

Delegates Still Needed to Win Nomination (2025 delegates)

Clinton 414
Obama 275

THERE ARE 404 Pledged delegates to be assigned. 264 Undeclared Superdelegates remain.

If Obama won half the delegates today 93 and Clinton won 94 then Hillary would have to win the remaining states by 85%.

Eight Things We Will Learn Today

Take photos of your polling place and send them to The New York Times

The Charlotte Observer thinks more than 1.5M Democratic voters will vote in today’s primary. A new RECORD!

There IS a Republican Primary today. McCain is in NC but not stumping. He’s talking about the kind of judges he’d appoint to the Courts.

John McCain, who voted to make English the “official” language of the USA, just put up his Spainish language website yesterday.

Arianna Huffington writes that John McCain is a complete liar: "He told me he didn’t vote for Bush. Now of course, McCain denies that he told her he didn’t vote for Bush.

Here’s a brilliant list of McCain flip flops or as I like to call them LIES.

YES! The big story today:

Democracy makes a comback!

Libertas
The finals aren't in yet...
according to the Wash Post

it appears to be a big win for Obama in North Carolina, and a close race in Indiana.

52/48 in Indiana from C-Span at this minute. Close, yes.

Hillary saw the writing on the wall tonight. She promised to "work for the nominee of the party". This was the beginning of the reconciliation and the "falling in line". I don't think we'll see more attacks on Obama from her camp.

I wouldn't be entirely too sure about that. She also re-pitched her squeal about Florida and Michigan. Making the DNC even listen to the complaint only helps tear the party apart even further. I don't know how many times this matter had been settled but 'never say die' Hillary is continuing to push the issue which in the end could make people in FL and MI actually very upset. The only plus to her pushing for FL and MI to be seated is if Hillary actually drops out before that date. If Hillary drops out prior to May 31, all superdelegates would be cast for Obama, I think a clear sweep of superdelegates would overcome any damage done by allowing both Michigan and Florida to keep their delegates, as long as Obama wins the nomination, everyone is happy (except Hillary of course but she may have no say in the matter).

How many undeclared declared super delegates are there left?

I think because Hillary Clinton is grasping the last of the end of the rope, that she may get even more nastier than before if she continues to use the scrotched earth policy.

I'm not sure which way she will go time will tell. what is even more apparent, is that there are a lot of people that do not like whats going on in this country and we have got a lot of work to do to fix the things that were torn apart, like our voting system, our Habius Corpus, everything! I Glad that Obama Won!!
