..where, besides the (tenuous) Democratic Party affiliation, do they show any populism?...Feinstein especially is rolling in dough, and never had any less-than-elite aspirations or connections.
Maybe it's that liberal media foisting those images on us?

You forgot Jane Harmon and Jay Rockefeller. All of them are accomplices. They know it. We know it.
I wish Randi and the other few liberal talkers were on 1,000 radio stations AND tv, so everyone knew what is happening to them.

How do you go back to your constituents and tell them that you are responsible for gutting the foundation of our country. A document that is about 230 years old, backed by the Magna Carta, and they turned it into a negotiating point. This is not over, the Supreme Court will not allow the Constitution to be gutted. I bet the Senate does, and anyone responsible for this should be looking for a job in Russia or China. It will be cool to see all of the torts against Bush when he climbs down from his tower.

When you are doing your calling about this issue put in a call to NARAL and NOW. No 4th Amendment, no Roe.

Can someone explain to poor ignorant me just why Pelosi and Hoyer have not been impeached for violating their oaths to the Constitution? Just asking.

Add Norm Dicks from Washington to the list of reps who forgot that part of their oath about defending and protecting the Constitution of the United States. I wrote Norm a nice to-the-point letter expressing my total shock and anger for his position on FISA. Of course he'll never respond. Many folks in this part of Washington have written this Congressman and never hear back from him. Now THAT's representation...NOT!

Just to remind our elected members of Congress the Oath of Office that they took upon entering the House of Representatives:
"I, (name of Member), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God."

If anyone ever thought Obama was a true left-winger, you're either an idot or you're not paying attention.
The only true left-winger that was running was Dennis.
Good thing though is Obama is WAY ahead in the pools. Looks good.

Immunity to the telecoms in civil court is not only wrong, it violates everything America stands for. So now we tell business you can break the law, the president will protect you and there will be no consequence to you for your action. This not only violates everything America stands for, it violates all spiritual faiths which just goes to prove if you look for spirituality in a corporation you are looking in the wrong place. Protecting these telcoms is pure FACISM!
THIS IS JUST WRONG!
If it were a product that had killed millions it would have never been aceptable. But because it only destroys the constitution it is. THIS IS JUST WRONG!
