Imus and his colleagues were discussing Adam “Pacman” Jones of the Dallas Cowboys and how he wants to now drop his nickname. At one point, Imus’s co-host, Warner Wolf, notes that Jones has “been arrested six times since being drafted by Tennessee in 2005.” Imus’s reaction:
IMUS: What color is he?
WOLF: He’s African-American.
IMUS: Well, there you go. Now we know.

Also, Cindy Sheehan is "calling for a memorial service for the 4th Amendment on Tuesday, June 24th. We in San Francisco will be gathering at City Hall at 3pm and having a solemn funeral procession to the Federal building at 3:30 pm. We will then eulogize the 4th Amendment and give it a proper send off. It served us well. Many of our brothers and sisters have never felt its presence, though, even though they have been working for civil rights for generations. Wear black. We are a nation in mourning for our rule of law. "

He SAYS he was merely being sarcastic. Uh-huh. And NOW he is all sympathetic to the plight of the African American being overly penalized in this country.
Well okay, Imus, look into the phenomenon of privatized prisons in this country and try to stop that. It's a business in this country to incarcerate as many as they can get. MORE MONEY!!! Yeah.
The very reasons we cut ties with the British crown are being revisited. Now, our so called representatives are treading on us. Our flags should fly upside down with the "Don't tread on me!" flag flying underneath it.

After listening to Turley, I still don't see what the problem is. We'd be trading telcom immunity for admissions of guilt on the part of the President. I doubt very much that he'd do it in the first place, so telcom immunity is unlikely, but the worst case scenario is having Bush on record taking responsibility for impeachable offenses.

The article on Big Sugar/Everglades skims right over the deal without commenting on the "land swap". So what? We're going to buy their land, and give them some land? This sounds like a dirty deal, pay over a trillion dollars for the land then lease it back to them? What's with that?
