DISCO'S AWESOME!

Hey, I thought indiscriminate sex, some of the drugs and the climb out of conservatism and away from mindless jingosim were awesome. But disco? ick. It was only the lousy score to great visuals.

Phran, you're so young and naive, everyone except the really horny hated disco, and I know that for a fact. Eddie Rabbitt was the way to go, check out Suspicions, awesome song, great for nakedness, even today!!!!

I always agreed with Frank Zappa's assessment of disco:

Disco makes it possible for mellow, laid-back, boring people to meet and reproduce.

I always agreed with Frank Zappa's assessment of disco:

OMG! How do we stop boring people reproduction? St. George (Carlin) was right. The human race is doomed, we are too stupid to survive.

The 60's were the high, disco was the hangover. I am holding onto hope by a thread.

Just turn on HBO this week and watch this same actor play an over weight transexual and or woman in the 2nd film production of John Walters "Hairspray".

And our values are where?

I too was about 8 when all of this happened- my first albums were the soundtrack to Grease and Shawn Cassidy! Plus I actually played with a daughter of one of the members of ABBA and I thought they were such Rock Stars LOL I actually got to enjoy the 70s- we had some running with scissors but in a much less traumatic way- it was the 80s that put the fear of god and men in me....

I thought us gays were entitled to a Disco Exemption. Ya gotta admit, Donna Summer is fabulous (who else could make "MacArthur Park" sound so good?)!
