NASA scientists have found that cirrus clouds, formed by contrails from aircraft engine exhaust, are capable of increasing average surface temperatures enough to account for a warming trend in the United States that occurred between 1975 and 1994.
"This result shows the increased cirrus coverage, attributable to air traffic, could account for nearly all of the warming observed over the United States for nearly 20 years starting in 1975, but it is important to acknowledge contrails would add to and not replace any greenhouse gas effect," said Patrick Minnis, senior research scientist at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Va. The study was published April 15 in the Journal of Climate. "During the same period, warming occurred in many other areas where cirrus coverage decreased or remained steady," he added.
"This study demonstrates that human activity has a visible and significant impact on cloud cover and, therefore, on climate. It indicates that contrails should be included in climate change scenarios," Minnis said.

Especially if those projects will produce legislation which will require citizens to pay taxes for something they aren't producing? The Banks stand to make TRILLIONS from this worldwide operation. These new taxes will permit the UN/US Govt to enter your home and assess your carbon footprint...they will be able to invade your privacy by tracking everything you buy, too. Your bank acct will be tracked, your credit card purchases will be tracked..etc. This is one of the most important reasons we're are being spied on, our accts are going into a database, and a profiled history is being assessed.
I have researched this conspiracy to the point that is leads straight to 'eugenics think tanks', pharma and carbon taxation for banks. It's horrendous. These sick people really do believe in depopulation. They consider most human groups worthless, "useless eaters". They believe the Earth will need to lose 2/3 of its population in order to maintain eco-balance. They have created maps and NGOs to decide regions that need to be cleared. Forcing citizens into high pop. density areas...leaving the rest, wilderness. They intend to have this done by 2020.
Carmen...Look up. Watch your skies every day. Watch the 'white dust' being swept in the wind. Compare and contrast those beautiful puffy white clouds with 'persistant trails' which morph into expaning maisma fog. Notice how your local meteorologist gets most of his/her predictions all wrong...even within 24 hrs.

THAT'S your proof of chemtrails? A tv weatherman talking about chaff and its effects on radar? Someone says he's talking about chemtrails and you buy that hook line and sinker? You've never heard of what chaff is and what it is used for? Tom Clancy writes about it extensively in several of his novels. Ok, I'll explain what chaff is.
When a jet fighter gets into a dog fight and has someone on his tail, or his threat warning says there's a missile on him, then the pilot will deploy flares and chaff. The flares are to try and fool a heat seeking missile into the flare. The chaff are bits of metal or other material used to try and fool the radar of the enemy to deflect the missile into a false target instead of the jet. The navy also uses chaff for the same purpose. To create a cloud on the radar of the enemy to try and deflect anti-ship missiles into a false target. I don't know how you don't know this.

A research team of American and German scientists, headed by Patrick Minnis of the NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, reports that contrails cause a warming of the Earth’s atmosphere, although their impact is currently small as compared to other greenhouse effects. They predict, however, that it may grow by a factor of six over the next 50 years. In 1992, for example, contrails added an estimated 0.02 watts of warming per square meter globally, about one percent of all manmade greenhouse effects.
Air traffic and, therefore, contrails, are not evenly distributed around the globe.They are concentrated over parts of the United States and Europe, where local warming reaches up to 0.7 watts per square meter, or 35 times the global average. The resulting temperature increase is not computed in this study, but is estimated to reach between 0.01 and 0.1 degrees Celsius (0.02 and 0.2 degrees Fahrenheit) over the northern temperate zones for current air traffic. In the future, increased air traffic will raise these values.
Large, linear contrails can be observed in satellite imagery. Although their total global coverage has not yet been determined, it is computed from traffic and weather data to amount to 0.1 percent. In the parts of Europe and eastern North America with the heaviest air traffic, however, contrails currently cover up to 3.8 percent and 5.5 percent of the sky, respectively.
Minnis and his colleagues report that global air traffic rose by over seven percent per year from 1994 to 1997, in terms of passenger miles flown. Growth is likely to continue, meaning contrails will play a larger role in future climates than they do today. Taking into account such factors as number of flights per day, fuel consumption, and altitudes flown, they conclude that by 2050, average contrail coverage over Europe will be four times higher than at present, or about 4.6 percent. In the United States, the increase will be 2.6 times current levels, or 3.7 percent coverage; and in Asia, the increase will be ten times current levels, or 1.2 percent.
The researchers emphasize that these are conservative estimates, which take into account only the thicker contrails that can be readily observed. Thinner contrails and contrails that have developed into natural-looking cirrus clouds also affect climate, but their impact cannot yet be predicted. LONDON, UK, May 7, 2008 (ENS) - Climate change emissions by the airline industry, airport noise, and local air pollution are all trending sharply upwards, according to a suppressed report based on information contained in U.S., European and UK government databases maintained by regulatory agencies.
The technical report was submitted to the 7th US/Europe Air Traffic Management Research and Development Seminar held in Barcelona, Spain last summer.
But it was not accepted for publication by seminar organizers and remained unpublished until released to the public on April 24 by the Aviation Environment Federation, the principal UK nonprofit concerned with the environmental effects of aviation.

They received back from the senator’s office a General Accounting Office (GAO) report on "military chaff" and the material safety data sheet for aluminum-coated fiberglass fibers being spread—seven days a week for several hours each day—in the skies above their home.
The chaff is spread by pilots learning how to mask planes or send false radar images. It was reported that the military also has lead-based chaff, but that it is not being used at this time. Chaff was used by the military in Europe in WWII and, according to the GAO, had been used in training here at home since the 50s.

Seeker, you still believe that those in power really care about you. They have been planning this global warming = carbon credit taxation fraud for years. The same families that own and control the military industrial complex also own the banks.
Let's make it simple for everybody...
The military creates more environmental instability, the banks collect the carbon taxes and loan money for the neverending programs trying to help the environment...to no avail.
Al Gore has never addressed Weather Warfare/Mitigation..nor has he ever addressed HAARP. If he were sincere in his efforts, these two HUGE programs would be foremost on his list for discussion.
It's simple and straight forward. It becomes more obvious that Al Gore has something up his sleeve.

It has also been said that in the 2008 summer Olympics in Beijing clouds were seeded so that there will be no rain during the opening ceremony.[1] The Chinese weather modification office rarely publishes in the open scientific literature and therefore their claims of success are widely disputed.

It sounds like, considering how long they've been doing this, they still don't really know if it even works.
My first encounter with the concept was when I was a very young kid...my family went to a movie: Rhubarb. One of my favorite memories (maybe because I like cats). Anyway, at one point, the hero of the story, a cat named Rhubarb--The Brooklyn Dodgers' mascot--was catnapped by "the bad guys." Brooklyn knew it couldn't win the Big Game without the team being able to give Rhubarb a "luck rub" so they hired some guys to fly over New York and seed the clouds with dry ice. (it worked of course...since this was all fiction)

Even better pictures than OKthatsIT's. You can actually see the filaments/polymers drifting in a curve ..off the main trail.
This one shows trails beneath a larger miasma fog(expanded filaments).
Here's a new video of 'aerosol spraying' as the plane ascends. Realize, contrails do not form under 25,000 ft...usually 30,000. Go to 2:30min into the video.

Those photographs were taken by Carole Pellatt who used to post at my humble forum.
I am not attempting to sow discord or hassle you, but to be honest, readily available sources indicate that you are OKthatsIT. Circumstantial evidence tells us the same. OKthatsIT used to post quite often in this forum section. After the board had to restart, apologies if I am mistaken, OKthatsIT disappeared and you appeared. Was there a Morgan username on this board before Randi changed to Nova M Radio?
