The Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Thailand is famous for their unique attractions, fun shows, and the ability for tourists to get close to (and often touch) the tigers. However, the most famous attraction is the couplings of pigs and tigers:

Speaking of garden, and yes this is off topic but I need to ask, what does it mean when your cucumbers turn orange? I didn't even realize I had any cukes out there, but noticed this evening that there were 3 and all were in varying stages of turning orange. Now I'm sure they were on the vine too long, would that do it? We've also not had rain in over a week and its dry out there. I haven't watered but will have to tomorrow morning if we don't get rain tonight. Could that have done it?

I've never seen orange cucumbers before. I haven't cut them open yet to see if they are still good. Strange.

Too much catnip?

...catnip is biochemically related to marijuana and other so-called psychedelic drugs, another theory suggests that the pleasure response in cats is actually similar to that experienced by humans taking similar drugs.

Harvesting

Harvest cucumbers when they reach the desired size. Do not wait until they turn yellow. Yellow cucumbers are overmature and will be strong flavored and of poor quality.

LOL I think who has been in the catnip again. rolleyes.gif

Yeah but smoking catnip does not do a thing for humans. Tried it, didn't do a thing for me.

Combined with some damiana and skullcap the effect is pleasant enough, similar to that of kinnickinnick. But still nothing like the real thing.

My sister had a squirrel that broke his leg. She nursed him back to health. He hung around the house for quite a while. One day her boyfriend had a bud and put it on a counter. He came back and it was gone. The squirrel was normally very hyper and extremely nervous. He was laying on the window cill with both legs dangling.

Yeah well that stuff isn't growing in my yard like weeds. At least not that I am aware of. And my smoking days are over unfortunately. My lungs just won't allow it any longer.

Why?

Well, it seemed to go with orange, and cucumbers, and cats.

That cat looks pissed!!! I would like to remind everyone that there are a plethora of cats that need homes, we were at the vet yesterday and they have like 41 cats and kittens, I got to play with Opie, he was so cute, just curled up in my arms and went to sleep. I tried to hand him off to the wife, and he said nope, I'm coming back to you, damn he was cute, only 6 weeks old.

Ah! Actually I wasn't questioning you posting it as much as I was questioning the reason for putting "stuff on one's cat". Mine would have slapped it all off and peed in my shoes before I got the second (what is that anyway) piece of stuff on them.
TapDuncan
RM-- I had a cat grooming my mustache yesterday at the vets office, he was obsessed with my mustache, it was so funny and yet disturbing at the same time!!! He also kept licking my legs and for once I was wearing shorts, man did it tickle, his name was Schmitty, I loved playing with him too.

I heard that. Can't even put a collar on the Furrbawl. He turns into Faye Dunaway in Mommie Dearest, Dutch Cleanser scene.

BD--Thanks a lot, I still have nightmares from that movie, it was so close to my own upbringing, and Faye uglied up real good in that one, that's called great acting in my book. I also loved her in Barfly...Drinks for all my friends!!!

Faye won't discuss the Crawford pic. Gets really angry with journalists who try to bring it up. When she did Master Class out here, her bio took up an entire page of the Playbill, and listed, literally, every single thing she's ever done, on stage, screen and television, with the glaring exception of Mommie Dearest. Sump'n happened to her on that movie, and she's never quite recovered.

TapDuncan
BD-- I think what happened was she learned what not to be as a star. If I had to play that role, it would be like playing Hitler or shrub, I would do the research, become sickened, and decide to put it behind me, chalking it up to a good performance and nothing more, then, amputate it form my existence.
Me loves Faye, especially in Bonnie and Clyde, my favorite, I'm reading Public Enemies for the third time, so awesome. Oh I'm also reading The Art Of Racing In The Rain, tears galore, but good tears, but still GALORE!!!! I encourage that book to everyone who loves dogs!!!
