That's what I'd like to know. It was obvious that these people were of a criminal mindset back when George Bush was Governor of Texas. For the last eight years we've had to endure slander after slander by right-wing zealots who are now distancing themselves from this president and his policies like rats from a sinking ship. I know who called me un-American for their political convenience.

Indeed, but being a little young to make it to more than one Dead show (Vegas, '96 i think - the one with Traffic where the security raided the vendors and pissed everyone off) I come to my appreciation of the Dead through Jerry's work with Grisman, including Old And In The Way and later the Pizza Tapes, Shady Grove, etc. It was through that I learned of the Jug Band roots of the Dead based around San Francisco champion banjo player Jerry Garcia and the eventual evolution of the Dead from there on.
