I received this e-mail yesterday and I thought I would share:
QUOTE
Good Afternoon,

I'm Ed Herlik, the McCain campaign's Colorado Veteran's Coordinator. Our work, your work, is critical given how close the vote will be in Colorado. Our 9 electoral college votes may well decide the whole election.

I'm writing to ask for motivated volunteers from all congressional districts. We're building our veteran's organization and need your help. No, you don't need to be a veteran to work for them. You just need to care.

These leadership roles will generally entail working on our deployed troop's absentee voting drive, visiting veteran's organizations near your home and distributing supplies (bumper stickers, signs, etc.). The civilian side of Colorado's leadership will handle other work like rallies, advertising and fund raising. You'll be informed on all of it, of course, and can join any work you'd like.

Please contact me with your questions and to let me know that you'll play an active role in electing the Senator!

Cheers,

Ed

They still think I'm registered Republican. biggrin.gif

I wrote back today and asked him what information he would like for me to share with the good people of Colorado about Senator McCain's record.

Idiots. My delegate status for Obama in both the CD and State conventions is a matter of public record.

McCain can't do anything but work off old information. He thinks he's running for Abe Lincoln's 3rd term.
