Should have had Sam Seder substitute for him...

I know this is Randi's house but I'm listening to NovaM waiting for her to expand my mind.

Also, just wanted to say Her show has been the best it's ever been since she moved over to her new place. Keep up the great work, Randi!

Sam's still on AAR, right? There are worse people on the air than Maron. (<ahem> Lionel.) Malloy is still a guilty pleasure, but when he swings a little too freely from his hinges, I have to call it a day.

Malloy's the best. He described the "Unity" rally as if it were a cheesy romance novel, which it was.

Duh. Is the way of the force of politics these days to be absurdist - Annie Oakley? Anybody?. But enjoy Malloy's extreme takes.

I missed Maron today. What's was wrong with him today?

Malloy is fun when I can't cope with the latest trick this Administration pulls and Dems can't seem to do anything about it. Most of the time, though, I think some of the Dems are being blackmailed because that's why we have wiretaps - for them - not the terrorists. BTW, neocons consider Dems terrorists. It's the looney-toons nature of the world we live in -- that's when I like to hear the commentary.

I like Mike too. But not when I'm in the mood for Thom Hartmann. Totally different styles.

I was surprised to hear Mark Maron. Nonetheless, he was remarkably retrained, compared to his usual over-the-top style.

I think you're right.

Exactly my impression.

Normally I can't stand Maron but today he seems to have gotten some good advice and it taking it.

I like Mike Malloy -- most of the time.

When he's good he's exceptionally good at telling it like it is. But when his (mild) Tourette's disorder is acting up and he goes off on a screaming binge and/or a string of childish vocal mockeries he turns me off. Then I turn him off.

You seem to be a little confused. Mark Maron substituted for Thom Hartmann this morning. And did a great job BTW. They both still work for AAR.

Mr. Maron did not substitute for anyone on Nova M.

Love Marc Maron, and Sam Seder. Both of them should be on the air regularly.
