Could you elaborate for those of us among the Great Unwashed? Link perhaps?

Best Regards,

MiniYaYa
Olbermann is a Washington insider wannabe.
He wants to be Tim Russert. That won't happen.
Obama is not "playing" politics. This is not a game. Obama is very serious about the direction he is going because it is the CENTER where he is most comfortable. So are his big donors.

The only reason Olbermann and others are getting a bit pissed off is that Obama is moving to center. Well, let's be honest. Obama was always in the center. He stole John Edwards populist campaign, effectively vilified Bill Clinton and used the distrust people had for Hillary against her to eliminate her from the race (although not as quickly as he wanted and he only beat her by less than 2%).

Obama has been turning his back on many netrooters and those who have been speaking for him outside of the very carefully controlled "message" Axlerod has created for him.

http://www.nypost.com/seven/07012008/news/...veon_117949.htm

Obama will keep moving to the center. He knows his followers "worship" him and would never move to the anyone else but him. He used them to get to the nomination and now, slowly, he's cutting them off. Why? Because he can't control them. And for Obama, it's all about control.
Randys
Obama will move to Harlem and do the jig on the corner of 5th Avenue & Lexington, wearing a black tie and tails, if that is what it takes to get elected...so would Hillary have, it is how one gets elected in a split political climate like ours.

Win first, then do what you came to do.

So, Suzi-Stef-Zuki, there really is no other topic, no other issue, no other concern and no other story you're interested in save for those that provide an opportunity to criticize Obama or promote Hillary.

In 61 posts as of his writing, you've used 34 of them to initiate threads that are 100% exclusive to defending Hillary from perceived cruelties, or criticizing Obama and those who you assert support him.

The numbers alone show you can't have even participated in all the threads you've created, instead averaging less than one further post per thread you've created.

No threads or comments elsewhere in threads about Civil Rights protections, the 4113 US soldiers who have died in Iraq, the FISA bill and retroactive immunity for telecoms, or the collapse of the US economy. Oh, wait - gotta be fair. In a thread asking whether the economy was collapsing, you did offer the scintillating and insightful analysis "I hope not!" And there are perhaps a half dozen on seemingly unrelated threads where you offered hit and run posts lobbing insults at those members you previously denounced as blind Obama supporters and "Hillary-Haters." And you offered a stirring "RIP" to a thread about Time Russert's death.

In the mean time, you blissfully, blithely ignore requests to document claims, answer questions and generally back up your shrieks. Throw up a thread, ignore the questions, drop by another thread to lob some insults, then move on to create the next "You're all big meanies against Hillary" thread.

I am not a mental health professional, but I have played one on TV. But even that much isn't required to recognize you likely have a serious problem here. I'm not among those who casually ascribes financial motives to those who routinely post on a single subject or perspective. But if you are NOT assigned to this site by Hillary's campaign - whether on a volunteer or a paid basis - it is clear you have developed an unhealthy obsession. Indeed, one of these days, when the defenses your "mind" has created to prevent you from accepting that Hillary has lost and Barack Obama is the presumptive nominee, you may be at risk of a rather dramatic and potentially harmful mental and emotional collapse.

I urge you to seek and obtain help from real, trained professionals. Perhaps, after a lengthy and intense period of rehabilitation, information and other treatment, you will come to understand there ARE other issues of importance beyond Hillary Clinton's legacy. You will come to recognize that a great many of those who have disagreed with you have not deified Obama, they simply have an informed preference for him over Hillary Clinton. Indeed, some of them exhibit no blatant hostility for Hillary - they've simply made another choice. (You'd be surprised at the kind and complimentary things said about Hillary at this past weeekend's "RRMB Meet-up" for LA area members.)

With some guidance and support, you will come to realize that even Obama supporters recognize he has flaws and shortcomings, and that support for his candidacy - both over Hillary Clinton AND the Republican nominee - does not translate to or require lockstep agreement with Obama on every issue. He can be and is regarded by many as an imperfect person who nonetheless offers an intriguing and promising new era.

Finally, perhaps you will at long last come to understand how it was that many of us once regarded Obama and Clinton as virtual equals, tied for our third, fifth or even sixth place picks among the Democratic candidates, and how it was the words and activities of Hillary and her campaign that many of us found repugnant and hypocritical brought us to more soundly reject her and what she represents, leaving Obama the winner by default.

In any case, one hopes you come to understand that no one here insists you must support Obama, and it would be so nice of you to offer the same consideration in return. So you see, they're not simply offering in return that demand you apparently wish to impose on others. Most here are perfectly content with you maintaining your passionate crush on St. Hillary and your willingness to shrug off every last point that causes us concern about her. Most of us also experience no personal offense or affront that you are convinced she is a helpless victim who has been mercilessly set upon by every media outlet, political pundit, candidate for office, blog, RRMB poster (and the majority of Dem primary voters and caucuses).

But if you could occasionally find something else to be as relentless on, something where the outcome remains open and/or calls out for an impassioned, involved public, it might provide you just as much relief as it gives us.

Here's the difference...
Hilllary would have been called a racist and a pandering monkey if she did that.

If Obama did a jig on 125th and Adam Clayton Powell Blvd, he would hailed a hero of the people.

Obama based his campaign on being the anti-politics politicians and he's really the same old thing, just re-packaged for the hip, liberal elite crowd.

Now if you were a tad less biased you might find you get a bit more respect for your opinions. Give it a try and see.
