Black Republicans Launch Racial Anti-Obama Ads

The National Black Republican Association has launched the most personalized attacks of the presidential campaign to date, accusing Barack Obama of being an "arrogant elitist," and raising his connections to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers and Tony Rezko.

In three radio spots that the organization modestly claims are "eye-opening," the NBRA goes where its GOP counterparts have not: throwing the kitchen sink at Obama -- including racial references -- in hopes that something sticks. "Racist Democrats declared they would vote for a 'yellow dog' before a Republican because the Republican Party was the party for blacks," one ad states. "Racist Democrats will not vote for Obama, a black man."

Not to be undone, Black Democratics are attacking those blacks who did not support Obama from the beginning.
Oh, so typically. Attack your own to look good to the leadership.

Damn shame. Shame because now blacks are attacking blacks for having a different opinion from the mob. I know Obama thinks he has the black vote sewn up, but he might not have as much support as his followers would like to think.

There's a long time to November. Long time for Obama to keep the mask on.

To be fair crackers don't have power. A teenie, tiny, teenie, tiny group of white people and nowadays others with a whole lot of money keep their power. One of the ways they keep power is to get "crackers" to say "we" and "our" power just like slaves said "massa, we sick?" as Malcom X would say.

How many members does it have?

Armstrong Williams... J.C. Watts... Alan Keyes... Clarence Thomas ... Thomas Sowell... Ward Connerly ... Larry Elder... Colin Powell... Condi Rice... Ken Blackwell.

I bet they can meet at a McDonald's.

Wait a minute...What's your meaning here?

I'm wondering if a phrase that a friend of mine coined has come back full circle.

That this is a small and un-reflective organization that speaks for few people in its community.

I'm sorry, I meant by the McDonalds thing...

With absolutely no judgement, I ask if you were implying they were "McDonalds Black".

McDonalds Black = Politically sanitized representations of black ethnicity for private gain that are intentionally rendered 'non-threatening' to avoid scaring white people.

Randys
they were of course ordered to do this by the rnc, you see mccain cant go after obama on race, as much as he would love to fan the flames or racism, he knows he cant risk it

so why not have some Black Republicans do it...

what a shame

Nah. You're over-interpreting that part of my remarks.

I remember reading, a few years back, that you could fit the number of astronomers in the world who track meteors that intersect Earth's orbit "into a McDonald's".

i.e. it's a small number, enough to fit in a fast food restaurant.

That's all I meant.

Gotcha. Again, I meant no judgment. I find the term useful from time to time.

Exactly! Reminds me of the book "What's wrong with Kansas?" from a couple years ago. But hey, it took "crackers" over a hundred years to figure out that they shoud be Republicans instead of Democrats because the Party of Lincoln during the civil war was the Republican party. Talk about strange bedfellows...

Yeah and I've gotten kicked off of some of them, myself.

Got kicked off of one -- a rather famous NovaM property -- for defending Condoleeza Rice from WATERMELON JOKES.

I was like lol, omg...

True colors come out in the wash. It never fails.

Guys, gays have been down this road with the Log Cabin Rethugs election cycle after election cycle. Don't sweat it. The Republican Party and Republican voters don't give a crap about Black Republicans any more than they give a crap about gay ones. And people inclined to vote Democratic see through the whole thing. Let the BRs do their thing and let them see what it gets them. As far as the election goes the BRs don't carry any weight at all.

It's where the whole concept of "passing" comes from, but you knew that.

No, Condi's in there.

But she's a little different. She comes out for affirmative action and acknowledges that slavery still has an impact, today.

But she is one complicit heffa, though.
