I just heard Randi say to a caller who was disagreeing with her on Clarks's comments "You are making this up!!!" followed by "All you people are making all this up!!"

I really dont get it. I dont listen to other radio talk folks who shout down dissent because I think we've had too much of that for years. It usually is on the right wing side. I dont like to see it being directed against people who are trying to clearly and coherently express their views on a subject, no matter if the host(ess) agrees or disagrees.

I think that a better conversation on this topic would be if Clarke's commentary was based on a political strategy, or just serendipity. Plenty of room to disagree there. I dont think there is any foundation, however, for the types of attacks Randi is waging vs. Gen. Clarke on this.

I found the board because of my interest in Randi's show, which has helped keep me somewhat sane over the past year or so. I dont know about that now. I hate hearing people censored, even if I disagree with their POV

The last caller made good argument for Randi's position. If caller's could back up what they are saying I think she would listen but I think her antennae is up on Rovian tactics and she's actually saying what nobody would dare say that it's for Hillary's benefit. When she's in this mode she brings the hammer.

But we still gotta challenge.

If Rovian tactic is in play I think there are two questions:

What's Schieffer's role? Schieffer's role could be orchestrated.

Why is Randi repeating MSM message and ignoring McCain's abuse of POW status? She's trying to kill the MSM message by playing it to it's end?

I heard her say to another caller, that people that disagree with her have their brains where they sit........ Randi just doesn't get it, and I am a bit surprised at her inability to debate an issue with an open mind and logically see both sides of a discussion. It sounds like something you would hear from Sean Hannity.....

Well Randi's saying Scheiffer is fair.

And now she's saying that nobody is using McCain's POW status.

Back to thinking she's wrong.

Comes down to Clark should have known better per Randi.

But from video I thought Schieffer was using Fox like tactics.

At this point I blame media but Randi has put up red flag on Clintons "helping" Obama.

Randi said that she feels people are defending a Democrat at all costs and no matter what. Isn't that exactly what she is doing with all G. I.'s? I am a veteran, and I knew some folk in the military that shouldn't even be dog catcher let alone President of the U. S. The military is a microcosm of the entire United States, and we have our dead beats, slackers and wannabees just like any other American community. There is always that one that has nothing going for them except the uniform, and will work it into the ground for their own benefit, fooling the unknowing general public. I took a college math class with a guy that thought he was the only military person in the room. He would show up to class in his uniform, strut into the room like he was all that, and hold conversations with the instructor like they were the only ones in the room. He acted like everyone was thoroughly impressed with him. He told everyone he was an engineer. The only engineers that the base here has are civil engineers...glorified plumbers, pothole fillers, and the like. Hey, everybody has their mission in the Air Force. He was just one of those guys that, on base, was just one of the nerds that nobody paid any attention to that probably spent his evenings watching the Star Trek box set. Like I said, every community has them. Just because someone wears the uniform doesn't mean they can be President.

Randi will be the first to say she is wrong when she is, and it is pointed out to her. She expects to talk to intelligent and informed people on her show. She does not want air headed sycophants, that is what makes her go off. She also hates it when people just say stuff because they heard it. Use your brains, look up the source. This is all she asks of us. Don't be a democrat because it is the politically correct thing to do, do what is needed. Like she said, not everything the dems do is a good thing.

Hey, I dont know who you are referring to, but your tone is quite offensive! So, you want to carry Randi's water? Go for it! But I've been listening to the callers both yesterday and today, reading the opinions of tons of folks here on the this board, and also monitoring the talking head freaks on Cable and their guests. I have not yet heard anyone talk like, or write like an "air headed sycophant"! In fact, you owe everyone on this board an appology, imo. I dont know what your connection is to Randi, her show, this board, or what, however, the only comments I personally have heard that were not intelligent or informed are HERS and YOURS.

And neither Randi nor You should be so smug as to assume that you have a monopoly on smarts, good judgement, information, or anything else!!!!! Neither you nor Randi has any idea what experiences and background the callers and commenters here have. All YOU know is that Randi is getting PAID for her opinion.

Maybe this comment will get me removed from this board, as what happended to a person a few weeks ago who dared to (politely) disagree with Randi on this board. I dont give a fuck. In fact, Randi owes her listeners , and yes her fans, the mother of all "my bad, yall", imo. And trying to rehabilitate her statements, as she eventually started trying to do during her last segment this afternoon, does not cut it.
