Regardless of what the rest of the liberal community may do, I really wish that you of all people would NOT trash McCain on the basis of his age.

When Air America attacked you, they said you made ad hominem (Appealing to personal considerations rather than to logic or reason) remarks about a certain presidential candidate, which if you made them, I could not find. It made me look up "ad hominem!" When you referred to the lady as a wh*re, I took it to be a reference to her politics not her sexual activities.
But when you blast a candidate for his age (sex, color, height, country/state/city of origin, etc.), that IS ad hominem and is unworthy of MY Randy.

(True, he does seem to be over the hill. So'm I: but then I am not running for president, applying for jockey, or entering chess competition.)

Some of us age slower than others and tomorrow we might need to support a candidate of a certain age. People of advanced age can accomplish remarkable things. Lets not denigrate the whole realm of seniorhood in order to take out one flapping rooster. There are plenty of legitimate cracks that a clever lady like you can make. This one is a cheap shot. Obama discusses so much of this already in his book. It does not surprise me at all that he wants to take the faith based initiative and tie it more into this global vision he has of individual communities getting organized and doing things.

Atheism is a lack of belief in a God, not a belief in no God. It's a religion like bald is a hair color or "off" is a TV channel.
