So it looks like McCain is bringing in all these people that helped get Bush elected; those same people who used every dirty political tactic to usher in this tyrannical homicidal maniac for President. Who was brought in?

1. Steve Shmidt: responsible for day-to-day operations. Was Bush communication director; meaning he was responsilbe for getting his hate messages out to the public.

2. Mike DuHaime: probably being brought on to better organize a messy operation

3. Taylor Griffin: will bring a sharper view of McCains economic policies and strategy

4. Greg Jenkins: will ensure that the wonderful green background wont go up anymore.

I bring this to everyone's attention for 2 reasons....

1) Its laughable how toe-the-line the old man has become. He seems to be another Republican puppet. "You will have everything you ever wanted. All you have to do is become President and let us push our agendas." - every big corporation. I guess the most interesting hire was Taylor Griffin. The economy is horrible because of Bush. So who is McCain bringing in someone who was knee-deep in spreading the message of Bush's economic policieS?

2) Most polls being brought out (I saw one last night on MSNBC) has McCain and Obama within 5 points of each other. I mean, why? Obama should have every advantage possible. Money, a much larger voting bloc, the fact that Bush is a republican, and McCain seems to be following Bush down the path of corruption. So why is he so close?

More to the point. A campaign that doesnt seem to get off the ground because there continues to be setbacks like Clark, Rev. Wright, Bill Clinton, patriotism...blah blah blah, will now be tested by the same cronies who smeared a decent guy like John Kerry.

I think the republicans are sensing they have a serious opening here. Polls are too close to call. Obama wont resort to cheap political shots the same way Bush/Cheney/McCain do. There continues to be setbacks by high profile Democratic figures who put their foots in their mouths and dont seem to see the bigger picture.

They HAVE to keep it close to cover their program of election theft. Consider the source of the polls. The mainstream media has a ratings incentive to keep it a horse race and, BIG SURPRISE, it's overnight a horse race. How convenient.
