I am looking (so far unsuccessfully) for the original air date of the RR show broadcast on 7/3/2008. I want to download the MP3 of it, but I can't seem to identify what the original air date of this show was. Perhaps when a NovaM show is re-run (because it is worth re-running) someone at NovaM could make an entry in the podcast list of the current air date, and then identify it as a "rebroadcast of xxxxx" with xxxxx being the date of the original broadcast so we can find it and download it.

I was particularly interested in listening to John Dean's remarks again, but so far I haven't found the original air date of the show repeated on 7/3.

I hope someone takes up my suggestion for the podcast list. If someone knows which program this was, please post it here. Thank you for your help.

BTW, I thought I had outgrown the Newbie phase a few years ago. Was the membership data from the old RRMB lost in translation? I miss the old RRMB front page, with neat audio and video clips and our current assignments.

Air America pulled down the old RRMB and destroyed it when Randi left. The CEO of Nova M, John Manzo, former producer of Randi was the guy who originally created the old Randi Rhodes Show homepage, so they got the board up and running and are working on a new homepage.

What I was referring to is the persistent nature of some of the clips and assignments. As soon as we arrived at the top level, there it all was. Some of the clips and assignments may have been two or three days old when we saw them, but we still got to see them anyway. I miss that feature. I thought the reason for putting things on the "front page" was to emphasize their importance.

I know how to drill down and find Randi's most recent post. I was just saying I missed a particular feature of the old RRMB, and I was wondering what had happened. Did that feature get lost in translation? I know there was a lot of drama about the old RRMB code and who had the rights to it, etc. I am guessing the webmasters who built this version of the RRMB based their work on a back-up copy of the old RRMB, but I am sure they were under some serious time pressure to get something like the old RRMB up quickly, and they may have accidentally left out a few features.

I know about the founder's Club. I joined the night Mike Malloy announced it. I picked the annual membership because I intended to listen to Mike regularly, and I wanted to do what I can to make sure Mike stays on the air. The downloadable audio files are a nice plus, as far as I'm concerned.

Thank you for reminding anyone else reading this thread about the NovaM Founder's Club, and for providing the link to the membership page.
