"A federal judge in California said Wednesday that the wiretapping law established by Congress was the 'exclusive' means for the president to eavesdrop on Americans, and he rejected the government’s claim that the president’s constitutional authority as commander in chief trumped that law."

Hahahahhaha, or do you mean that adapting OGAs to a public service industry standards may not be legal ? A fly on the wall has told me that Cheney refers to illegal as a sick bird but I really can't confirm or deny that information. It is ashame Cheney himself is tethered to the White House, ain't it ? I really need to pull the plug on myself here today otherwise I will waste another Saturday on incompetence myself. Darn, I missed Cartalk this morning too. It's all about me you know ? I am the big fuckin bang.

The judge ruled in favor of an Oregon charity regarding a civil lawsuit brought by the Oregon charity. Thus the title of your thread is incorrect.

All that's left is to wait for the Supreme Court and strict constructionist (sic) Scalia to assert that the founders intended to have a strong executive. That's why the Declaration of Independence rallied against the Parliament and not the King (sic).

Well then we should rise up against the congress and the "unitary executive" too be more to the point of what we really want...and need.

This administration hit us like a mac truck. They in a few years did away with centuries of law. Little by little our political infrastructure is going to right the wrong, but it may take a few decades to allow the process.
