Randi I would like to know why it has never been brought up about John McCain's malfunction in his plane on the deck of the USS Forrestall during the Vietnam War--If one goes to google and types in USS Forestall --there are several queries that come up..Scroll to the 2nd one down and also the 4th one down and open them up...You tell me what kind of hero he was..134 men lost their lives..No women on ships in those years..I would like to see you bring it up on your show..I have 2 XM' radio's---one in car and one in the house plus broadband..I don't miss many of your shows...
One more question--why is Prudhoe Bay to Valdez Alaska pipeline never mentioned..Guess where most of the crude is going..To foreign flag ships to take to foreign ports and down to Porto Armulles (misspelled) Panama for refining and to go offshore...This is a violation of the Jones Act.
So much for the need to drill for more oil..Also all the hundreds of oil rigs that are capped in the Gulf of Mexico...Keep up the great job you are doing Randi--Your the best..Sure do your homework.

John McCain & USS Forrestall : I see the link that you talk about... Should be act like Republicans and ask "Did he really inhale?" or do you think you can out-swiftboat the real jerks that work the campaigns? The wikipedia article says that "McCain was struck in the legs and chest by fragments" .. that fits in with the concept that "McCain Left With The Wounded".
Was John McCain a young jet-fighter pilot ass-hole? Yes, What's your point? Isn't "jet fighter-pilot asshole" rather redundant? Absolutely... Quite frankly, I want those "jet fighter-pilot assholes" in the air when the bad guys are coming over the hill! (I think that Randi would agree!) This just isn't that important! If anything, it reflects back that Obama has NO military background. Why would anyone want to go there? or did you want to go into Chappaquiddick and why Ted Kennedy could never become president? (again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again)

Part 2: "Prudhoe Bay to Valdez Alaska pipeline .. foreign flag ships to take to foreign ports" hmmm. Part of the reason why California pays much more at the pump as the rest of the nation.. domestic port to domestic port required the much more expensive domestic shipping. (can't we cut a deal for ourselves? .. guess not!) I take it that the west coast refineries are at absolute capacity.. and they are shipping the excess capacity to Panama? (they will accept the foreign flag vessels.. therefore have the "deal" that we refuse to give to ourselves!) You are probably right.. we probably don't need to drill off of the west coast... but we probably need to get a better shipping deal from the domestic carriers .. and we probably need more refining capacity in the west coast. Have you seen the stock price for TESORO CORP (NYSE:TSO) for the past six months? They are a refiner and a gasoline retailer.. They are getting hammered! There just isn't the money in these two areas. (They're probably wondering.. Why aren't we doing solar? .. other than, that the tax credits on solar run out soon!)

Part 3: "all the hundreds of oil rigs that are capped in the Gulf of Mexico". The question out if this is Why? Dry holes? Don't have the proper recovery equipment to "squeeze" our the oil? Oil leases are conditioned on oil production.. If you're not producing, the oil lease runs out. That doesn't make much business sense. (and at these oil prices.. it suggests "stupidity".. it's time to make money hand-over-fist! .. these wells should be gushing!)

The energy questions are important... and why don't we have an "energy policy"? It's more than .. that we have an idiot in the whitehouse.. He will soon be replaced! (I'm not sure why this didn't merit it's own thread!)
