Back to work ya bastards!

This week FISA comes up in the Senate and while it will include Immunity for Telecoms it will not include immunity for the US Government. A case is proceeding in California where the plaintiff is suing the US Government for spying on their charity group. The Judge is allowing the case to move ahead stating that The President MUST GET A WARRANT under FISA because The President is not above the law.

Afghanistan and Pakistan
I don't like to even bring up Afghanistan without talking about Pakistan, because I think they're linked, and I think we need to make sure our strategy includes not just Afghanistan but also Pakistan. We have a heavy focus on the FATA (Federally Administered Tribal Areas), and I think that's right. Clearly, if I were going to pick a place where the next attack is going to come from, that's where al-Qaeda is, and we're going to need to figure out a way to resolve that challenge.

"Oil Should Be $144 a barrel"

I remember becoming friends with a group of Vets in a local bar one time. There was an incident, I unknowingly pushed the wrong button. A friend of a friend said to me something like, "Don't worry about him, he is still on a hill in Vietnam". I don't think a barroom is group therapy. However, isolation and disrespect will keep any man or women suffering in life. It takes a community.

Labeling people and/or ideas is not cool to me and yet sometimes it is necessary as a frame of reference. But, whatever happen to free thinking ? Did the reincarnation of Goebells and his minions make free thinking illegal ? Was not the country founded by free thinkers ?

Immigration reform was killed with about one statement being used by Senator Cornyn of Texas in my opinion, "This Bill is amnesty". I considered the source and thought, "That has got to be a false statement". When Universal Healthcare is put on the table for debate automatically some people will scream "This is socialism !!!" So it does not surprise me that Obama is accused of going "right" because that's just what these people do, label things.

In free thinking getting by contempt prior to investigation is difficult. Majority of Illegal aliens are just trying to make a buck to send it back home to their families. A handful of them are criminals in the scope of things, but I can't blame anyone doing what needs to be done to get out of poverty. We could think about helping them get out of poverty in a legal manner. Saint Bono likes the idea of buying them tractors so they can make a living at home wherever poor people are in the world.

So, now I am reprogramming my own brain to forget about the label, is it a good or bad idea. Have to weigh both sides of the equations and the bullshitters just get in the way. Actually I rely on Durbin and Sessions to give me some rational mainstream opinions from time to time through the span.

Earle dropped about 4 dollars per barrel today at one time through G7 summit on dedications made for keeping the dollar strong. If that dollar increases in value we may just have a G8 again one day. I don't buy any extremist motives purely on the "God" motivation. Usually there are only a few motives to commit a crime from petty larceny to terrorist acts. One of those motives is money. I mean people can act like freedom fighters or they can act like merconaries if someone is getting paid to lead their efforts, follow the money. Nigeria is an interesting case which produces instability in the Earle industry from time to time, like Columbia Redux, cough-cough. And Nigeria is known for its virtual conmen with alot of interesting emails well known to the FBI and interpol. I could just buy some specific stocks, tell my rebels to go sieze a drilling platform and then watch my portfolio grow. Alot of money changes hands for terrorist incidents and authorities know that very well.

Let's get this party started Lord, lock-n-load, Hoo-Rah !!!

Posted this on Hartmann's page before his show started this morning - turned out to be kinda off-topic, so it attracted little attention. Maybe it''ll do better here - discuss amongst yourselves ...

OK - people wanna know what we can do about fuel prices, and how we can prevent this trend from spreading. It's pretty simple, really.

We need an effective way to enforce prohibitions against MARKET MANIPULATION. WTF is THAT, you ask? Well, that's pretty simple too.

Let's say I'm the world's largest grower of Avocados. Let's further say that there is an overseas commodities market that deals in Guacamole futures. If I double my Avocado production this year, there will be a glut of Guacamole, and the cost of Guacamole futures will drop like an anvil thrown out of a helicopter. If my wife then buys up a pot-load of them CHEAP Guacamole futures, and I STOP growing Avocados next season, I will create a global Guacamole shortage, and the value of the futures my wife bought on the cheap (because _I_ depressed the price) will skyrocket! Got that?

The above is EXACTLY what Kenny-Boy Lay did with Electricity at Enron, and it's also essentially what the oil speculators are doing now. We HAVE laws that prohibit such transactions from occurring on DOMESTIC stock exchanges (NYSE, AMEX, etc.), but we need an enforceable way to prevent PRODUCERS of commodities from investing in futures of the commodities THAT THEY PRODUCE in FOREIGN markets.

Guess what they are all criminals. They broke the law! Illegal Alien says it all. You can't blame anyone doing what needs to be done to get out of poverty. Okay, so when someone, God forbid, breaks into your home and steals your TV and stereo, and jewels and money I guess that's okay. They'll be doing it to get out of poverty.

Hi, friends.

I would very much appreciate you posting links to the 9 second and 1:23 minute media clips from the weekend of Sen. Obama talking about his Iraq withdrawal strategy.

Yes, I've read Greg Palast. The press gets things wrong and takes its eye off the ball.

Heck, I've run for office. One reporter, a young kid of about 22, couldn't keep up with what I was saying, so in true Bob and Ray skit fashion (Slow Talkers of America), I slowed way down so he could take down every syllable. He still got it wrong. But he wasn't malicious. He was new at his job, and I was able to fix it with an editorial comment.

This, though, sounds malicious. By editing the clip down to 9 seconds, they completely distort the statement.

I want to edit the two clips together to show people what's going on. I want to spread it as viral video and name names of the networks and, if possible, the producers/editors who did this malicious editing. I want to see the networks explain this bit of editing to their faithful viewers.

Thanks!
Bob

Watching Senate Hearings starting with a Judiciary Panel lead by the Ranking Republican back then The Honorable Senator Specter from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, it became apparent to me that majority of crimes committed by illegal aliens have illegal aliens as their victims. So when someone claims an illegal alien will steal my tv, that may or may not be true. A crackhead will nearly total my car just to steal the radio for crack. I once put up a guy to give him a jumpstart at recovery from his poverty due to addiction. He stole a rug, a knife and my cigs so I got rid of him. Another couple I put up for awhile were great company. I think they got the jumpstart needed by them. And oh be careful who you talk to, my stepmother is processing through citizenship right now. She happens to be a native of Mexico City, Mexico. Her family still lives in that well publicized Hell hole of drug crime.

Any Questions ?

If you check out the DEA website, there are maps of specific drug epidemics. In awarding certain federal contracts, there are demographics to consider. Like, maybe, a poor county would need economic stimulation over a well to do county. Legislators have this tendency to get contracts for their own people like earmarks. I could give you a case study but I won't em-bare-ass anyone today. If you read the stats on income and revenues generated on a local and state level in Alaska, if Anwar would to be opened, then you would understand my argument that opening up 1/1000 of a federal land reserve for strategic and stabilizing fossil fuel internal assets is really to me a counter-action to poverty, since Alaska is the highest recepient of earmarks and subsidies and etc of any of the states of the union. People say, "Save the Caribou". I wonder if the oil companies paid them to say that ? There is a sucker born everyday.

I think this is wonderful! When someone born in a foreign country comes here through proper legal channels they are obviously a benefit to this great nation of ours. My only problem with immegration are those who disregard our laws and our sovereignty. Illegal Aliens are just that illegal, and therefore criminals.

I was not suggesting an illegal would break into the home, I was using an example of anyone person breaking the law in the name of poverty is wrong no matter how you slice it, same thing for entering our country illegally. It is wrong.

I agree with you. The best way to stop the "slavery" is to secure the borders and impose the laws we already have in place. When we catch illegals crossing our borders we send them back just as we should send those already here whenever they are caught. There should be huge fines levied against anyone or any corporation hiring illegals.

While Mrs. first lady Bush was pushing say no to drugs, good O'l Raygun was flying C-130s in with drugs, which one of them was a great show on 60 minutes. The inspector that stopped the shipment lost his job.

Our government has been taken over by criminals every time we voted Repug. Then the dems got the same treatment by Clinton, to a lesser extent, but he did setup Bush Jr for the best crime ever.

If there is a God above, I say this knowing there is one through personal experience, not drinking cool-aid followed by a meteor shower, we will get someone to pull this country together. The alternative is the last days scenario and I personally think that one sucks. I read the end of the book, and have been on the other side. I really don't need a cactus enema in between.

Blah, Blah, Blah, opinions are like Cheneys, everyone has one. Yes, those illegal aliens could be carrying dirty bombs, scary man scary.

A moderate approach working with Capitalists, Socialists, Republicans, Democrats and Centrists is to uphold laws which are practical. Do you drive at 65 mph on the speedway ? I am sure you do, not. Some highways will cause whiplash driving at 65mph.

Labor force is a function of Commerce. When Commerce is high there is a need for workers. When commerce is low, there is less of a need of workers. There is a basic standard of living requirement which is reflected through, I don't know, minimum wage ? Some are lucky enough even to get benefits like I don't know Healthcare ? Have you purchased gasolene lately Mr. Label them "Criminals" ? I smell a Rove I do, I smell a Rove.

Okay I'm not even talking about the possible terrorist that could come in through our insecure borders. I'm talking about people disregarding our laws.
It's nice to see you're advocating "slavery" now. And the impracticle law excuse is really getting old. Going after crack addicts is impracticle too, there are always going to be crack addicts so we should just allow them to do whatever they want, even if that means stealing or killing to get their next fix. Going after drivers speeding on the interstate is just as impracticle but for some reason I get a ticket when I break the speed limit. How impracticle. The laws are not impracticle if they are enforced. People caught crossing the border are sent back. Illegals caught here are sent back.
Your above statement has nothing to do with the fact that people entering this great nation of ours are breaking the law, thus they are criminals. Please prove me wrong.
