Because they are slanting them, if they were "grown-up and responsible" [really fair and balanced] they would report the likely winner - electoral votes.
But they are biased, in who they want ... to maintainthe status quo.

And paying for push polling like :
Would you trust a black president ???? 1/2 black

That question is only asked to pander to prejudicial people and re-enforce those prejudices,
with the question - and falsely sanction them !

To be fair shouldn't they be asking :
Would you trust a white man who has flip-flopped on 48 issues in the past six months;
and continues to "pander with" UNCORROBORABLE POW stories ??? And was 4 years behind
on taxes on "who knows" how many houses.

Recent Poll.....

Hillary Supporters when asked would they vote for Obama.

52% Yes
48% NO

What is that in millions of votes...6 million, 8 million but you just can spot McCain that many votes.

Like it or not Obama has to do something he might not get us all but he could make a dent.

And these are the flip-flops I’ve noticed earlier:

* McCain pledged in February 2008 that he would not, under any circumstances, raise taxes. Specifically, McCain was asked if he is a “‘read my lips’ candidate, no new taxes, no matter what?” referring to George H.W. Bush’s 1988 pledge. “No new taxes,” McCain responded. Two weeks later, McCain said, “I’m not making a ‘read my lips’ statement, in that I will not raise taxes.” * McCain is both for and against a “rogue state rollback” as a focus of his foreign policy vision.

* McCain says he considered and did not consider joining John Kerry’s Democratic ticket in 2004.

* In 1998, he championed raising cigarette taxes to fund programs to cut underage smoking, insisting that it would prevent illnesses and provide resources for public health programs. Now, McCain opposes a $0.61-per-pack tax increase, won’t commit to supporting a regulation bill he’s co-sponsoring, and has hired Philip Morris’ former lobbyist as his senior campaign adviser.
