I hear there are Oxygen Bars there, where you can go in and have a seat and buy some oxygen, you even get one of the nasal cannulas so you can get a good dose of O2

Sea level wusses. I was born there. It's only a frickin' mile high.... suck it up! Even after 20 years of living in LA and Seattle, visiting Colorado still is no real stretch.

Try some Tibet on for size. That's 3 miles high. THEN you'll need your ass some oxygen.....

That sounds like a great scam.

There used to be one of those around the corner from my house, during the infamous tech boom. I live in one of those "desirable" neighborhoods.

Today, it's a sushi bar, or is at least trying to be, after being a wine bar, a juice bar, etc.

Wanks.

Quite agree. I lived there for two years before returning to the sea level soup. Here we're at 4800 feet, but most of my sites were at the 11-12,000 foot level. It took me a few trips up there to get acclimated. What it reminds me of is Japan. I remember seeing bottled oxygen vending machines in Yokohama in '73. I also remember lots of people wearing surgical masks too.

When the Japanese are sick with a cold or sore throat, and those with TB, they wear a surgical mask as a social courtesy. Courteous, huh?
