Not all that rare. Clearly, he's no GWB, and he's better than most. But Obama does stumble on occasion during speeches. (Virtually every human being does.)

Clearly, I'm worried about unreasonable expectations, because they can lead to such a depressing crash when reality sets in.

Unreasonable or not you gotta admit it, those expectations are there because of the overboard reactions to GWB's speeches. Instead of focussing on content there was too much focus on stammerring. Can't have it both ways.

That was incredible, my wife and I had tears in our eyes after Joe Biden finished speaking. SImply amazing pairing, I can't Imagine voting for anybody else, unless I was stupid and crazy.

Cold chills were running through my whole body as I watched the two couples walk up those steps where Lincoln is from.

I think it's weird that CNN was the first to report the gaf; this after quickly clicking around, listening, cussing, and then landing quickly back saftely at my comfortable homebase - the span.

Once again, McCain campain is grasping for anything. And it's not much.

Folks, I am really scared for America right now. We had our Constitution pulled from under us, and most people don't even know. I can guarantee that if someone is voting repug, they don't know. That is the scary part. We need this win bad, but then it will take time to turn things around. We are yet to feel the pinch of paying off the debt, that is going to hit us hard. These repugs have been cheating so bad and lying and stealing and selling us out, we have not yet caught up to all the damage. This could be held against Obama in 4 years when the shit hits the fan.
